* StarMakingRole: This mod is the entry point into high-profile ''FNF'' mods for composers Saster, Fluffyhairs, [=SimplyCrispy=], and Saruky. All would become very prominent composers and/or remixers in the community because of ''Corruption'''s popularity.

** Phantom Fear has blocked {{Recursive|Fanfiction}} {{Game Mod}}s and backports based on ''Corruption'' until the story is finished to prevent viewers from confusing {{Fanon}} with canon, and also because ripping off his artwork is required to make such mods. * NonSingingVoice: Soul Boyfriend's vocals are pitch-shifted from regular Boyfriend's vocals. His actual speaking voice, however, is done by Week 8's composer, Saster. Saster did, however, sing the chorus of "[[VideoGame/{{Yakuza}} Baka Mitai]]" for Soul Boyfriend's Twitter account as a gag.

* GodCreatedCanonForeigner: evilsk8r, who is one of the original artists for VideoGame/FridayNightFunkin helped with creating concept arts for the final design of the Harvester.

* TroubledProduction: In April 25, 2023, Phantom Fear released a tweet on Twitter about how an important animation file had been deleted and was unable to be recovered. Later at May 6, 2023, he reveals that the animation files that were deleted was for [[spoiler: Pico's Nexus form.]] With his animation files gone, Phantom Fear needed to redraw what was lost in order to compensate.

* HeAlsoDid: As ''Corruption'' was Saster's StarMakingRole in ''FNF'', he had previously only been known for ''VideoGame/{{Undertale}}'' AU soundtracks (most famously "Confronting Yourself," which would ironically become its own ''FNF'' mod) on the internet.

* PromotedFanboy: Prior to becoming a composer for the mod, Saster composed a fan remix of "Treacherous Thorns".

** When Monster introduces himself during "Shiver" in ''VideoGame/FridayNightFunkinBSides'', Evil Boyfriend appears on the arcade cabinets' monitors.
