* [[spoiler: Stonefur's]] death. [[HeroicSacrifice Aw,]] [[DoomedMoralVictor hell]].
* Snowkit, a tiny deaf kitten, was carried away by a hawk, all the while crying for help, with no hope of being rescued. This troper cries every time.
** When I got to this page in the book (it was from the library), I found that it was stained with tears. That's when I started crying, too.
* Bluestar. Every book after Forest of Secrets.
* [[spoiler:Runningwind's]] death. Yeah, he wasn't a major character, but I liked him and suddenly BAM he's dead. Also [[spoiler:Lionheart]].

* This troper had almost literally ''just'' decided [[spoiler:Cinderpelt]] was her favorite character, when she was halfway through ''Twilight.'' Yeah, she was inconsolable and sobbing like a baby for a good 20 minutes. Luckily, no one was home, so she didn't have to explain WHY she was crying over the death of a book character.
** This troper doesn't usually cry at books, just gets incredibly sad, but she was ''sobbing'' when the above death scene in ''Twilight'' took place.
* The very idea of the Clans leaving the old forest.
* The end of ''Twilight'' is also undeniably sad for any [[spoiler:Leaf/Crow]] shippers, this Troper included.

* Virtually every book, until the third series.
** ...And then the third series hits us with [[spoiler:Honeyfern]]'s death.
*** How is the third series NOT a tear-jerker? It was arguably the most depressing of the three series, what with the [[spoiler: killing, insanity, secrecy, and extreme "{{Break the Cutie}}" (ALL of the three protagonists).]]
**** Well, the third series isn't so much "[[TearJerker burst out crying]]" sad as it is "[[DysfunctionJunction incredibly crazy]] and [[DespairEventHorizon depressing]]" sad.

The most recent was when [[spoiler:Squirrelflight got injured after the battle with [=RiverClan=] and [=WindClan=], which limited my vocal abilities to "Not Squirrelflight...please, not Squirrelflight..." * Anything related to Graystripe that isn't Firestar. His first mate dies, his second mate gets horrifically ill, his children die (Feathertail), run away (Stormfur), get crippled (Briarlight), or perform {{Face Heel Turn}}s. He himself not only goes through this, but gets kidnapped and returns to find everyone migrated away and his old home destroyed.

* This troper couldn't help but tear up when, in Cats of the Clans, when Rock described Yellowfang as "Brave, loyal Yellowfang, who fought enough battles for nine lifetimes."
* In Code of the Clans, the death of [[spoiler:Badgerpaw]] and his warrior name request to his mentor got this troper bawling and wanting to skin Brokenstar alive.
* [[spoiler: Mosskit]] in ''Secrets of the Clans.''

* [[spoiler: Scourge (then called Tiny) leaving home because he thinks that he is unwanted. "Goodbye Mama"...]] I was reduced to tears and haven't been able to even look at the book since.

* For this troper Crookedstar's life as Crookedkit was heartwrenching. The whole scene where he is conscious of his twisted jaw and is trying (painfully) to eat outside of the medicine den for the first time but is wracked with shame and embarassment is almost too much to take. Then toss in the total agonizing descriptions of his mother's rejection of him due to his accident and it's a sobfest.
