She's even chucked her hammer so far it made a visible ''dent'' in the [[VideoGame/SonicAdventure Egg Carrier]] which is essentially Eggman's AirborneAirCraftCarrier, and according to the bio card for the machine, the vessel itself weighs around '''655.281 tons''' as well as being 789 meters... in length.

** Levi while he's better known for his Super Speed still is the foremost human example of Super Strength as well, given [[https://imgur.com/a/kQavt he can physically overpower a grown man]] and slice [[https://i.imgur.com/TbYWfPy.png people]] and [[https://i.imgur.com/j6SipSu.png Titans]] apart like butter.
* The titular RobotGirl heroine in ''Manga/BattleAngelAlita'' despite being 4'11 is ''ludicrously'' strong, able to [[https://youtu.be/OOVbxWl_37Y?t=109 tear through]] and [[https://youtu.be/EwgC_HjG1d8?t=72 smash]] other cyborgs four times her size. * The hIEs in ''Literature/{{Beatless}}'' are super-strong.

** Pippin was one of the few humans who was burlier than Guts and though he was quite the GentleGiant Pippin still had strength near equal to him. * In ''Manga/BlackButler'', [[spoiler: Finny]] of all people is able to easily lift and toss a large marble statue. He throws it with such force that it becomes ATwinkleInTheSky...before [[spoiler: falling at terminal velocity toward Ciel's head.]]. Due to this super strength, is the only one able AND willing to play with Plu (a giant, demonic dog).
* In ''Manga/{{Bleach}}'' pretty much everybody has super strength, with the standouts being Yamamoto, Isshin, Ichibē, Yoruichi, Kenpachi, Sado, Ichigo, Ulquiorra and Nel.

* In ''Literature/{{Campione}}'', Godou Kusanagi can temporarily boost his strength to superhuman levels, said to rival Hercules himself, with the power of The Ox. [[ConditionalPowers The catch]] is that he's only allowed to activate it in a situation that would actually require super strength. For example, if he were fighting a bear or someone else with super strength, or if he needed to move a boulder or a train, he could use it. If he were fighting an ordinary person or needed to move furniture around, he has to rely on his normal strength.

** Saints, born with bodies similar to the Son of God, can perform Herculean feats of human power, and superhuman strength is one of them. One notable example is [[LightningBruiser Acqua]] [[MagicKnight of]] [[TheJuggernaut the]] [[OneManArmy Back]], who along with his Saint-strength, is a member of God's Right Seat and such can call upon even greater power with [[HolyHandGrenade Divine Mother's Mercy]], allowing him to overpower several Magicians and even fellow Saints like [[ActionGirl Kaori Kanzaki]] in combat. He also regularly carries a massive mace around during combat and can carry [[{{BFS}} Ascalon]] without trouble.
** Several non-Saints use magic items which increase their strength tenfold, such as [[LittleMissBadass Leivinia]]'s Strength Ring and [[BloodKnight Thor]]'s strength enhancing belt. Knight Leader is also similarly enhanced, using several magic spells and modifying his weapon Hrunting, allowing to go toe-to-toe with a weakened Aqcua (who is still powerful enough to blow away a platoon of knights with a single blow.)
** Sogiita Gunha's undefined power grants him superstrength [[ComboPlatterPowers among other powers]], strong enough to punch through concrete and steel like it was paper. And he can use his strength as well [[BlowYouAway to create huge gusts of wind of varying degrees of power.]]
** Hokaze Junko, thanks to her power Rampage Dress, is strong enough to match Sogiita in combat.
** [[PhysicalGod Magic Gods]], [[TheArchmage apart from their overwhelming magical power]], are stronger than the average man (it's implied they outmatch Saints in overall power). Ollerus, an imperfect Magic God, defeated Gunha without much trouble. Othinus in particular, casually crushed Touma's [[AntiMagic Imagine Breaker]] ''and [[EldritchAbomination the Invisible Thing]] that overpowered Fiamma of the Right [[BeyondTheImpossible who at that point possesesed power beyond that of God's]] under the same breath'' with just her strength alone.
** More due to CharlesAtlasSuperpower but Kamijou Touma is regularly seen [[MegatonPunch sending people flying across the air with one punch]] (he once punched one such foe so hard they '''cratered''' a nearby pillar upon impact) and had once knocked away a massive cross about to crush him ''with his left, unpowered hand''.

** Fighters tend to always have at least super strength to rely on. Even Mr. Satan, the FakeUltimateHero, is shown in the anime to be able to drag multiple buses behind him and break stacks of telephone books. And not just the usual strongman demonstration of ripping them in half (which is quite difficult), he breaks them with a ''karate chop''. And does the same with a large stack of bricks. And his strength, while very impressive among {{Muggles}}, is a tiny fraction of what even the weakest fighters in the main cast can do.
** Saiyans, the alien warrior race introduced in ''Anime/DragonBallZ'', are absolutely super strong. Even Goku at beginning of the first ''Manga/DragonBall'' series could still break a stack of bricks with ''one finger'' and [[https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/powerlisting/images/0/02/Kid_Goku%27s_strength.gif/revision/latest?cb=20181221153713 lift and throw Bulma's car]] (which couldn't be any less than 1,354 kilograms) with Bulma still inside it and Goku was [[SuperStrongChild just a kid]] at the time. In ''Anime/DragonBallGT'' when a continental crust sinks under a city, [=SS4=] Goku [[https://youtu.be/oT0w8h3fMlc?t=27 lifts the whole thing back together]].

*** Nappa being TheBrute is super strong, [[https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/dragonuniverse/images/9/9b/ArmBreak.PNG/revision/latest?cb=20161101145450 able to take Tien's arm off with one attack]] and in the anime [[https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=e6VBMdLArJ8&t=47s he turns a few fighter jets into scrap metal]].

** Speaking of which despite being "weak" Earthlings Yamcha, Krillin and Tien have extreme strength, Yamcha once destroyed [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtySKDEVQ3c some gym equipment]] [[DoesNotKnowHisOwnStrength when]] [[DistractedByTheSexy distracted]]. Chi-Chi has super strength as well given [[https://youtu.be/qAlPDqW05qE?t=68 how badly she smashed Kami House]] while possessed in the Garlic Junior arc.

* [[UnstoppableRage Shizuo]] [[HairTriggerTemper Heiwajima]] in ''Literature/{{Durarara}}''. Though he was born with the strength, he initially lacked the RequiredSecondaryPowers of SuperToughness and repeatedly broke his bones throwing stuff at people. Shizuo's body toughened up, though, so by the time most of the series take place he routinely chucks vending machines around and swings lampposts without suffering any ill effects.
** Shizuo's SuperStrength is somewhat realistic (if heavily exaggerated) in nature. The human body is surprisingly strong on its own, to the point that have a natural "block" on their physical strength so that they don't end up tearing themselves apart whenever they're physically active. Shizuo doesn't have these blocks.

* In ''Manga/FullmetalAlchemist'', during Scar's first fight with Major Armstrong, he comments that shiny man's strength is "[[CharlesAtlasSuperpower almost superhuman]]". Hell, Armstrong and Sig use pretty much GoodOldFisticuffs [[spoiler: to kill Sloth.]]

* The Twilights in ''Manga/{{Gangsta}}'' have enhanced strength due to being descendants of those who used the [[SuperSerum Celebrer drug]], they can easily rip normal people apart like paper, lift up steel beams, smash concrete like cardboard and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHOOBaq1Mrs can even kick cars off the ground]]. Which makes their preferred use of melee weapons like swords, knuckle dusters and knives against guns [[GunsAreWorthless completely justified]]. Some Twilights (like Nicolas) have SuperSpeed to adequate their strength making them deadly [[LightningBruiser Lightning Bruisers]], however overdosing on pills or fighting for too long seriously risks Twilights's physical and mental health.
* In ''Literature/{{Gate}}'', the demigoddess Rory Mercury is pretty much the only character who can lift her halberd, which is so heavy that an ordinary person would get crushed under its weight. She can also hit the ground hard enough to shatter it, throw a gun at a man hard enough to send him flying, and knock a dragon back by hitting it.

** Gon the pint-sized protagonist, even before he got [[KiManipulation Nen]] could [[https://i.imgur.com/bLNYSQy_d.jpg?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium carry three people on his back]], [[https://i.imgur.com/7RY8LPv_d.jpg?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium send a man three times his size flying]] and wear a 50 kg vest as a PowerLimiter. And that's not [[https://i.imgur.com/cjxjF0F.gif mentioning]] his MegatonPunch [[spoiler: or his terrifyingly strong SuperMode which [[https://thumbs.gfycat.com/EarnestSeveralEstuarinecrocodile-size_restricted.gif can kick foes]] almost into orbit]].

** The antagonists in [[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventurePhantomBlood Parts 1]] and [[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureBattleTendency 2]] all have super strength to some degree. Even the basic zombies in Part 1 are so strong that it's almost impossible for a normal human to beat them without using Hamon. Actual vampires like Dio Brando even more so (as demonstrated by the famous [[spoiler:road roller drop]] in Part 3). Strongest of all are the Pillarmen of Part 2 - as just one example, [[https://youtu.be/Oicj1tLfND4?t=138 Wamuu is able to use a stone pillar like a club]].

*** [[TimeStandsStill The World]] (DIO's Stand) just like its vampiric master has formidable strength, [[spoiler: seen when it punches through poor Kakyoin's abdomen and goes on to match Star Platinum]].
*** [[PercussiveMaintenance Crazy Diamond]] ([[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureDiamondIsUnbreakable Josuke]]'s Stand) is akin to Star Platinum being able to punch straight through opponents' torsos like butter, it even matches Star Platinum in fisticuffs. [[spoiler: [[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureJoJolion Soft & Wet]], Crazy Diamond's AlternateUniverse counterpart is also very strong being able to kick through an apartment wall and break rock(human)s]].

* Eclair from ''Anime/KiddyGrade'' has super strength as one of her main powers.

** [[IronLady Tsunade]] is the mascot of this trope for the series with [[MusclesAreMeaningless monstrous super strength]] as her trademark ability. In her first appearance, she slams her finger into the ground and splits the earth before her into a large chasm. Orochimaru realized that she would put his life in danger if she was at full strength. Soon after this, she wields [[AttackOfThe50FootWhatever Gamabunta's Sword]], slamming it down on Manda's jaw. In Part II, she smashes the NighInvulnerable Susano'o on her own.

* Most of the characters in ''Manga/OnePiece'', even {{Mooks}}, have super strength, so much so that it might be a requirement in being a good pirate.

** Usopp initially pretended to have super strength to fool villains, by using comically-oversized hammers (much lighter than they looked, due to being hollow) with "5 ton" and later "10 ton" written on them. Post-timeskip, he's bulked up considerably and it's no longer a façade (though he's still nowhere near the likes of the Monster Trio). Played straight for once in ''Anime/OnePieceStampede'' where Usopp [[https://66.media.tumblr.com/d0c336cbc4817dcd835bf92f4ba0ae0b/tumblr_pw2bqqOzqF1t1yvcko2_500.gif catches a heavy burning mast]] that was gonna fall on Luffy, and keeps holding it up with his HeroicSpirit.
** Fishmen have super strength as a species-wide ability; the average fishman is [[TheStrengthOfTenMen ten times stronger]] than the average human, and when in the water they get even stronger. That said, there are fishmen that are even ''stronger'' than your average fishman, like Jinbei, Tom, and Fisher Tiger. In the case of Jinbei, his feats put [[FantasticDrug Energy Steroid]] guzzling Hody Jones (also a fishman) to shame. When Wadatsumi (an incredibly strong '''[[AttackOfThe50FootWhatever gigantic]]''' fishman) ate an Energy Steroid, he tried to punch Jinbei, who [[RoundhouseKick casually counters with a roundhouse kick]], ''injuring Wadatsumi's fist and causing him to fall to the ground''. In Whole Cake Island, Jinbei could even deliver a MegatonPunch to ''Big Mom'' strong enough to knock her over.
*** The Arlong Pirates [[spoiler: and New Fishman Pirates]] were built up to be so fearsome, because of their immense strength as fishmen (Arlong himself could lift a house), but all in all, they're just your slightly above average Fishmen that can be outclassed by three aforementioned ''superhumans''. This is one of the reasons why the Straw Hats were able to defeat Arlong's crew early in the series.

** The SuperSoldier Vinsmoke Family children have modified strength thanks to their DNA being tampered with e.g kid Reiju could [[https://i.pinimg.com/originals/8f/02/bf/8f02bf28966909b7c97dd97405a6fbb8.png bend iron bars]]. SuperStrength [[https://66.media.tumblr.com/2455dcf2a63bd4d628190c0d6eeec14a/tumblr_p9r7xaWZfV1xo2kfyo5_500.gif appears]] to be Vinsmoke Yonji's power when wearing a Raid Suit as unlike his other siblings he isn't granted special powers [[spoiler: ironically when Yonji fought his aforementioned "[[CharlesAtlasSuperpower normal]]" human brother Sanji, he lost [[CurbStompBattle badly]] because he wasn't nearly as strong]].

*** Kaido first demonstrated his NighInvulnerability when he fell 10,000 meters from the sky onto the ground, but he soon demonstrated his strength when he reduced an underling to a TwinkleInTheSky [[https://scans-hot.leanbox.us/manga/One-Piece-Digital-Colored-Comics/0824-011.png with his club]] and [[spoiler: later even [[https://scans-hot.leanbox.us/manga/One-Piece-Digital-Colored-Comics/0923-013.png one-shot]] Gear 4 Luffy with the same weapon.]]
** Kozuki Oden has super strength like the aforementioned examples [[spoiler: but he deserves a very special mention [[https://youtu.be/y8_DVTvk4SY?t=52 for carrying all 9 of his men above his head]], while being StewedAlive and then throwing them all to safety after one hour. Given Oden had a BladeLock with the aforementioned Whitebeard and even overpowered Kaido his monstrous strength is to be expected, but this last feat in particular is legendary even by One Piece standards]].

* A-ko in ''Anime/ProjectAko'' has super strength as part of her powers of being the daughter of Wonder Woman and Superman. B-ko gains super strength via her PoweredArmor.

** Less obvious is Minako/Sailor Venus, who doesn't throw around people, but [[InASingleBound can casually jump one or two stores high]] and from roof to roof, feats that require great strength that not even Makoto is able to perform. Possibly because [[UnskilledButStrong Makoto may be way stronger but not as skilled]], while [[WeakButSkilled Minako's lesser super strength is balanced by greater skill and combatat experience]]. In fact the manga has a scene where they fight due Makoto being brainwashed, and [[OneHitKO Minako easily knocks her out in one kick]].

* ''Manga/SpyXFamily'': ProfessionalKiller Yor is frighteningly strong for someone with no explicit superpowers. Feats include multiple instances of kicks sending people across the room (and in one case embedding the target in the ceiling), knocking a moving vehicle off the road, knocking a man unconscious by throwing a ''button'' at him, pinning another man to a wall with a thrown knife, and hitting a tennis ball at the speed of sound ''while holding back'' (her previous, full-power shot didn't go anywhere, because the wires of the racket just sliced the ball into pieces). Later on Yor knocks a volleyball ''into the mesosphere'' during a game.

* This is a trait of gravekeepers in ''Literature/SundayWithoutGod''. Scar can flip grown men one-handedly and without breaking a sweat, and Ai, being half-gravekeeper, has a surprising amount of strength for a little girl.

* It's rarely touched upon but Vash the Stampede from ''Anime/{{Trigun}}'' has enhanced strength given [[https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BX2JI0AIu_Q&t=110s he can carry two grown women across the desert]], [[https://youtu.be/Nh03hWyKgqw?t=1200 kick over]] TheBrute Monev and wield Wolfwood's {{BFG}}. In the manga Vash does [[http://i.imgur.com/l17fUT7.jpg one arm handstand pushups every morning]] and even resists Legato's MindOverMatter powers [[https://imgur.com/a/wP8EK with the strength his body]]. [[spoiler: It helps that Vash isn't human [[BizarreAlienBiology but a humanoid Plant]].]]

** Shinobu Miyaki, the intended but thwarted female protagonist, has strength that defies human limits. She casually throws school ''desks'' the way other girls throw school-books when angry, with enough force to put them through walls, swings telephone poles like branches, and can send guys flying with a single punch. In one story, to handicap her to make an interclass battle more fair, old-fashioned ball-and-chain weights are shackled to both ankles ''and'' both wrists, and they don't even slow her down. A RunningGag is Shinobu complaining about being a weak, frail, delicate girl whilst [[HypocriticalHumor simultaneously performing some feat of super strength]].

** Precisely ''how'' Ranma and Ryoga measure up in terms of raw strength is a source of some debate in the fandom. {{Fanon}} generally places Ryoga as the superior, largely due to his issues with strength control. In canon, however, the results are more ambiguous, and Ranma has even managed to match some of Ryoga's feats in his physically weaker female form.

** Knuckles is not to be taken lightly as his monstrous strength makes him a beast since he tends to be TheBigGuy of the group. Those spikes on his fists are no joke as he can destroy large stones and level any kind of robots to pieces. Aside from just wrecking anything, he can also uproot enormous trees, shred through sturdy rubble and soil with his Shovel Claws, has easily tossed around a colossal [[Franchise/{{Godzilla}} Moguera-esque mecha]] by the tail like a damn rag doll, and has managed to uphold a gigantic pillar from [[TheBrute Yellow Zelkova]] and has also sent him flying across the field just throwing both him and the pillar despite the combined weight. ** Sonic has a lot tremendous strength for a 3-foot blue hedgehog. When it comes to taking on a various number of Eggman's robots, they're usually larger than most of the cast. In episode 13 he used all of his might just to shove [[HumongousMecha E-18 Guerra-Hard's hand]] ''off of him'' (the robot weighed 550 tons by the way) when the latter had him pinned against a wall, casually held back a robotic fish without even looking, carry some of the biggest animals such as a tiger while running, has effortlessly bent the cannon of a tank as if he was tying a knot, and he's able to combat and trade blows with Knuckles himself. And that's just whenever he's not in the mood of doing his signature SpinAttack. Combined with his famous SuperSpeed along with this strength, he's undoubtedly a hardcore LightningBruiser in this regard.
