Several of the Breaking Old Trends isn't speculative as we do have it confirmed in announcement videos; which I have cited in the example. Some of them are also not relavant or unfounded, so I deleted them outright.

Power Rangers Cosmic Fury is the 30th season of the long-running Franchise/PowerRangers franchise, first announced in August 2022 and will begin airing in September 23rd, 2023. It will be only 10 episodes long.

Following the final fight against the Void Queen and the Sporix, things had calmed down as humanity joined the Rafkon people in living in peace on Earth. However, Zayto, having previously sacrificed himself to stop the Sporix threat, was resurrected with a brand new mission: Lord Zedd, previously resurrected and trapped in crystal, had broken free. However, what they have isn't enough. To defeat Zedd and stop the threat he possesses, the Rangers must hunt down brand new powers and a new fleet of Zords and they'll be doing that with the aid of a veteran Ranger...

This season sees the return of the entire main cast of Dino Fury, the first time a cast returned for a third season since Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers Season 3. As well, Jacqueline Joe will return as Zoe full time and the cast will be joined by Creator/DavidYost, reprising his role as Billy Cranston/Mighty Morphin' Blue Ranger, straight from his appearance in Film/MightyMorphinPowerRangersOnceAndAlways.

!!Common Power Rangers Tropes:
* CombiningMecha: The announcement trailer stated that the season will adapt the mecha fights from Kyuranger. Like some of the previous seasons, the Red Ranger's Zord makes up the main body of the Cosmic Fury Megazord, while the other Rangers form the arms and limbs and can be interchanged.
* FiveManBand: Played with. As seen in the announcement trailer, former SixthRanger Aiyon is now a part of the traditional core team while former leader Zayto has upgraded to become the SixthRanger instead, now known as the Zenith Ranger.
* SigilSpam: Not the team logo, but the lightning bolt from the original Mighty Morphin logo is on the Rangers' belt buckles and all of their individual weapons.
* RecycledInSpace: According to interviews and the press release, the Rangers here will explicitly be traveling off-world and fighting space battles. This would make it the fourth explicitly sci-fi season, and the first since SPD and the first to travel off-world for a good chunk of its plot since Lost Galaxy.
* ShesAManInJapan: Played with. While Cosmic Fury will not be using the Kyuranger suits, they will be using the mecha. In Kyuranger, the Red Ranger was a male, while here the Red Ranger is female.
* TransformationTrinket: The initial reveal of the suits showed that the new weapons will utilize the Kyutamas from Kyuranger, though not the morpher from said show.

!!This show provides examples of:
* AdaptedOut: As stated in the announcement, the Kyuranger suits will not be used by the main team, instead going with something completely original.
* BreakingOldTrends:
** First time a group of Rangers has been around for three seasons since Mighty Morphin.
** First time a Power Rangers season has not used the equivalent Sentai suits but does use the Zords since Season 2.
** First season to have most of the cast come back after their equivalent Sentai wrapped up since the switch from Turbo to In Space, though unlike there none of the Dino Fury Rangers are being left behind.
** First season to have a female Red protagonist from the start.While not the first female Red overall, both Charlie and Lauren only appeared near the end of their seasons.
** First season to be only 10 episodes, instead of the customary 20-22 episodes for seasons after RPM.
** First time Gold has been used as a color of the initial core team, rather than being exclusive to the SixthRanger.
** Zayto's new suit color seems to be a shade of beige, which has never been used for an official Ranger suit before.
** First time the Rangers have new powers with new suits but keeping their old helmets.Mighty Morphin kept the Zyuranger suits in Seasons 2 and 3. The toyline DID include brand new suits for the MMPR team in the 2010 toyline, but they never made it to the actual show.
** There's also a twofold example; Because a Gold Ranger is part of the core team (as mentioned above), this becomes the first season since S.P.D. to not use Gold or Silver for the Sixth Rangers' color. Instead, the additional team member is instead colored orange, making them the first official, non one-off Orange Ranger who is actually a proper part of the team in the series.Outside of some examples in the BOOM! Studios comics
* CostumeEvolution: As seen in the announcement release, the new suits are almost completely original except keeping the helmets from the Dino Fury suits. And even those have new, additional adornments.
* DiscardAndDraw: While the reason why has not been revealed yet, the Rangers' powers and weapons from last season have been almost entirely discarded, instead gaining mostly new suits and completely new weapons.
* FashionableAsymmetry:
** All of the Rangers have silver triangles on the right side of their waist, stopping at their belts. Amelia has a second set mirroring the first below her belt.
** Javi has a set of armor going down one arm, but not the other.
* HeroicBuild: The actual physical suits, as seen in the announcement trailer, have extra padding that gives off this effect in the male Rangers.
* InsistentTerminology: The reveal states that Zayto, rather than being identified by color like the others, is now called the Zenith Ranger.
* Irony: When Bandai had the toyline, a consistent complaint was giving the male Rangers a HeroicBuild and the female Rangers ImpossibleHourglassFigure, especially during the Neo Saban era. Once Hasbro bought the franchise, they were praised for having more realistic proportions on their Ranger figures. Now, come this season, the US-original suits for this series have padded armor that makes the Rangers look similar to Bandai's old figures!
* RankUp: The official announcement stated that Amelia is promoted to leader of the team and becomes the Red Ranger, with Zayto becoming the Zenith Ranger instead.
* SuperheroesWearCapes: As seen in the announcement trailer, Zayto's Zenith Ranger outfit comes with a fancy cape.
