Zyuland is a parallel dimension existing alongside Earth and inhabited by a race of PettingZooPeople called Zyumans. While exploring a forest, amateur zoologist Yamato Kazakiri stumbles across a strange cube-shaped artifact which teleports him to Zyuland, where he meets the four zyuman guardians of the "Link Cube" which connects our worlds.

Bangray holds Yamato hostage and demands the others prove they won't fight back by holding up Yamato's transformation cube and demanding the others throw their similar cubes down. Misao does nothing, since his morpher is shaped differently. But Bangray calls him out, demanding he throw down his Transformation Trinket as well.
