After defeating the monsters, the Wyvern Knights can gather parts and bring them to the local Blacksmith Twins to use said parts as materials for building and improving their weapons and armor. trope disambig

Wyvern Knight is a FreeWare ScienceFantasy monster-hunting ActionRPG imagined by Tropers/KJSixteen. The setting takes place in the Kingdom of Wisteria, a humble small kingdom populated by anthropomorphic wyverns, including the PlayerCharacter. Life in Wisteria is pretty decent, since its civilians are able to make a good living off of the resources they need while looking out for each other, unless you count the fact that giant monster attacks are pretty common. In that case, that is where the titular Wyvern Knights show up to fend the civilians from said monsters with various weapons, such as the Lance and Shield, the BFG ClayBFS more, the Strike Glaive, and the Ion Laser. The Wyvern Knights are also equipped with Runes, portable augmented devices that enhance the Wyvern Knight's abilities, whether by increasing damage output, healing allies, or building protective barriers. Most of the time, the Wyvern Knights create a party of four members to defeat the boss monster.

* ActionGirl
ActionGirl: You can be this trope if you play as a female knight, and there are recruitable female knights as well.
* TheAdventureContinues
TheAdventureContinues: After defeating Kaiser Wotakn, you and your fellow knights find out there are more Fell Beasts in the deeper edges of the land. You fight those Fell Beasts as Bonus Bosses and unlock more gear.
* AnAdventurerIsYou
* Animesque
* AttackDrones
* AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever
* BadassLongcoat
AnAdventurerIsYou: You and the other knights have four weapon classes (Lance and Shield, Claymore, Strike Glaive, Ion Laser) and three rune types (Attack, Defense, Heal). Both weapons and runes synergize pretty well.
** BadassLongRobe
Lance and Shield serves as the Tank, focusing on surviving as much damage as possible while keeping bosses under control by parrying their attacks. Both guarding and parrying reduce damage by 70%, which can be further increased by armor[=/=]weapon abilities that further reduce damage. The Lance and Shield's inherently tanky nature can improve its already impressive durability with the Defense runes. Alternatively, Heal runes can turn the player into both a tank and a medic, essentially making them an ambulance truck on legs.
** Claymore serves as the "Pung big guns" of the party, focusing on dealing burst damage while the Behemoth is either distracted, locked down, or (especially) fatigued. Claymore wielders will benefit from Attack Runes to further improve their massive damage, although it is recommended to use gear that increases attack speed and reduces charge time due to the Claymore's slow and heavy nature.
** .
* BeamSpam
Animesque: The game's art style resembles VideoGame/FreedomWars and the VideoGame/GodEater series, and the wyverns themselves borrow Kemono design ideas (long and narrow snouts or somewhat flat snouts and large human-like eyes). The Kemono rule somewhat applies to some boss monsters, such as the Awakened Dragons.
* BewareMyStingerTailAttackDrones:
** the 1st level Runes allow you to summon four of these called Sentries and like VideoGame/Gradius Options, Sentries follow you like a snake's tail while firing FrickinLaserBeams at the boss(es). Depending on the rune type, Sentries can fill up the fatigue meter (Attack), reduce defense (Defense), or steal health (Heal). Sentries deal 1% of direct health damage on bosses and they can be directed to attack their parts a'la VideoGame/PanzerDragoon, although their damage can be increased with certain armor abilities and Talismans.
** Some Behemoths also summon their own Attack Drones, such as Nexus Apokrypha (purple and black wormlike drones that orbit around the knights and occasionally fire lasers), Skypiercer Sturmvogel (four yellow diamonds that fire thunder laser streams and trail behind), Almighty Vermilia (two roses, one pink and white, the other blue and black, float on its sides while respectively firing fire and water orbs that home on random knights), and Victory Hagalaz (four glowing blue ellipsoids that fire streams of water lasers and behave like the Vic Viper's Options).
* AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever: Some monsters are pretty big, mainly Machinima-class monsters and Nexus Apokrypha; especially the Awakened Dragons.
* BadassLongcoat: Some armor sets don you one, such as the Partisan set crafted from Lockjaw Knavelous, which is an armored green trench-coat, or the Kaiser set crafted from Kaiser Wotakn, which is an armored white and grey coat with turquoise accents, albeit sleeveless.
** BadassLongRobe: The Enchanter set crafted from Storming Mireworm is a mystical blue hooded robe, giving the wielder a mage-like appearance.
* BeamSpam: The Ion Laser fires a continuous laser stream whenever you pull and hold the trigger, and while the damage may be pathetic when not aiming for the diamond-shaped markers all over the Behemoth's body, doing so not only increases the damage to respectable levels but also fills the Lockdown meter, which (true to its name) locks down the Behemoth for a short period of time and drastically increases the Ion Laser's damage until Lockdown is over. Unfortunately, many Behemoths also (ab)use this trope, such as Nexus Apokrypha, Skypiercer Sturmvogel, Amarantine Nervahti, Almighty Vermilia, and Victory Hagalaz.
* BewareMyStingerTail: Appropriately, the Wyvern Knights can inflict a short stagger and weak DamageOverTime by swinging their tails, which is done by pressing the Select button (or an equivalent for it), just like the kicking animation from VideoGame/MonsterHunter. Again, some Behemoths will use this trope, such as

* BloodlessCarnage
BloodlessCarnage: You can break (and sometimes even sever) monster parts and not a single drop of blood appears in this game. Instead, flashes of yellow light and floating numbers appear whenever the player's weapon attacks the boss(es).
* BlueAndOrangeMorality
BlueAndOrangeMorality: The Awakened Dragons function on unconventional morality, since they represent natural elemental forces (Centurion Vildhjarta has domain over volcanoes and lightning storms, whereas Amaranthine Nervahti has domain over the oceans and the earth). Instead, they act upon their natural instincts and protect their domains from anything that could disturb them, such as trespassers, civilization, and even technology. While this trope applies to Kaiser Wotakn to some extent, it doesn't have anything against technology or civilization since it doesn't have domain over natural areas. Instead, Kaiser Wotakn's domain is based on strength and valor, deeming whether one is worthy of its respect by challenging its potential opponents in a duel.
* BonusBoss

BossGame: The game is just you, three of your friends, and the boss itself, no stupid Mooks to distract anyone, although there would be missions were you face off two bosses, if not, more.
* BossRunBossRun: Although unlocked after beating the main story, the Tower is where players can face off all of the boss monsters in the game, followed in this consecutive order:
** (Fauna-class Behemoths) Blazing Knavelous, Storming Mireworm, Orchid Kyubi, and Lotus Kyubi.

Added DiffLines:

* DuelBoss: Overlapping with InTheEndYouAreOnYourOwn, the player must fight Kaiser Wotakn alone as a final challenge, and the player's allies must leave in order to fulfill the challenge's conditions. Interestingly, the player can fight Kaiser Wotakn with other players in CoopMultiplayer, so only NPC allies aren't allowed to help the player. Thankfully this happens only once in the game, so any future rerun on this quest gives the option to bring allies like other quests.

If this sounds familiar to you, then you have played or at least heard of the VideoGame/MonsterHunter franchise, which also follows a similar premise, except that game's majority of characters are humans instead. However, the Wyvern Knights can donate the resources they have gathered to improve life for not just Cydonia's citizens, but also for other villages and those in need. Kinda sounds like VideoGame/FreedomWars in terms of resource donation, aside from the lack of an oppressive dystopian setting. Speaking of the setting, the Kingdom of Cydonia is influenced by the Royal Capital Altair from VideoGame/DragonProject, since both settings use their equivalent of magic to power their otherwise European medieval kingdoms. In fact, this game's monsters are inspired by Dragon Project's monsters, and even a few are inspired by VideoGame/PanzerDragoon's monsters.

Wyvern Knight is a free-to-play ScienceFantasy monster-hunting ActionRPG imagined by Tropers/KJSixteen. The setting takes place in the Kingdom of Cydonia, a humble small kingdom populated by Anthropomorphic anthropomorphic Wyverns, wyverns]], including the PlayerCharacter. Life in Cydonia is pretty decent, as since its civilians are able to make a good living off of the resources they need while looking out for each other, unless you count the fact that giant monster attacks are pretty common. In that case, that is where the titular Wyvern Knights show up to fend the civilians from said monsters with various weapons, such as the Lance and Shield, the BFG Burst BFS Saber, the Snake Glaive, and the Laser Rifle. The Wyvern Knights are also equipped with Runes, portable augmented devices that enhance the Wyvern Knight's abilities, whether by increasing damage output, healing allies, or building protective barriers. Most of the time, the Wyvern Knights create a party of four members to defeat the boss monster.

monsters.Funny, because Panzer Dragoon is a RailShooter instead of an ActionRPG, and that's not including PD Saga, which is mostly turn-based.
