Among them are the [[ZetaGundam Gundam Mk-II]] with hidden weapons, [[GundamSEEDAstray Astray Red Frame]] with a [[VictoryGundam beam rotor system]], the Hyakku Shiki with [[CodeGeass Slash Harkens]] and [[OriginalGeneration Desu Tsubomi and Erika]] with beam sabers, beam shields and Slash Harkens.

** [[ZetaGundam Jerid Messa]]. In the original series, Jerid was an ace pilot, always fighting Kamille to standstills and losing friends and lovers. Here, Kamille doesn't even give him the time of day and his two Gundam fights have been with [[GGundam gi]][[GundamZZ rls]] who have easily kicked his ass!

* VillainTeamUp - One born out of necessity, as was revealed in the Getter Robo intro. With much of the Earth saturated with Getter Rays, the [[EverythingsBetterWithDinosaurs Dinosaur Empire]] had no choice but to be assimilated by the [[EldritchAbomination Invaders]] to continue to fight to reclaim the Earth. Cue Mechasauruses becoming full-blown BodyHorror.

** Case in point - the fourth ''MartianSuccessorNadesico'' mission averts the events of the sixth episode by having Yurika launch the units on-board and hope for the best instead of raising the Distortion Field and dooming the refugees.

* OneSteveLimit - Averted with [[VisionOfEscaflowne Van Fanel]] and [[ZoidsChaoticCentury Van Flyheight]], as well as [[PowerRangersRPM Flynn McAllistair]] and [[OriginalGeneration Flynn O'Shea]].

** The first encounter with DJ [=RGNK=] was like this. What should have been a DownerEnding turned into a victory when Fate started singing and other people joined in, [[GameMaster Zappa]] deciding to let everyone else in on the ending, ''even if they weren't officially in that mission!''

* VillainousBreakdown - in the Project [=PreDestiny=]/{{Metroid}} introduction mission, Sasodina snaps after [[Anime/GalaxyAngel Forte]] kills Kobra and Nanohana kills Kumojack. Both Nanohana and Eri is shocked by her breakdown.
