''Madagascar: A Crate Adventure'' was a boat-based dark ride that opened during Ride/UniversalStudios Singapore's grand opening in 2011. The signature attraction of the park's ''Franchise/{{Madagascar}}'' land, the ride was an [[CompressedAdaptation extremely compressed]] retelling of the events of [[WesternAnimation/Madagascar1 the first film]].
When four zoo animals end up stuck in shipping crates, four penguins who are also onboard take control and cause all the animals to wash up on the island of Madagascar. They end up lost, scared and in constant danger when exploring the further depths of the jungle when they soon come across an army of partying lemurs. While they are enjoying themselves at first, the zoo animals are suddenly asked to stop the fossas in the island from eating the lemurs. Now they must all team up to stop the fossas from bothering any of them again.
