Yuichi and his newfound companions Chizu, Kitsune and Gen battle with the yokai Kagehito. After the villain manages to flee, Yuichi finds himself arrested by the authorities for his numerous mess-ups in the previous episode. To make a bad situation worse, Yuichi learns that his ancestor Miyamoto isn infamous as history's worst traitor in Neo Edo.

* RevengeByProxy: Karasu Tengu hates Neo Edo because bulding it required cutting down countless trees. She decides to kill Lord Kogane to avenge nature, since he's Neo Edo's current ruler.

* KickThemWhileTheyAreDown: The prison guard freely admits to Yuichi that it brings him joy to do this. He goes on to demonstrate by gleefully rubbing Yuichi's failures in his face and telling him about Miyamoto supposedly assassinating the shogun years ago, just to shatter Yuichi's vision of his famous ancestor even more.
