* TookALevelInBadass: Space-Beth is now a legitimate threat to the galactic government and can go toe to toe with Rick.

* EatingTheEyeCandy: Summer uses the Invisibility Belt to get a good look at her shirtless classmate mowing the lawn.

* CurbStompCushion: Though PP ultimately beats him, Rick holds out for a really long time and does some damage. The Beths both get taken out within a minute, despite fighting him together.

* HasTwoMommies: By the end of the episode, Morty and Summer point out to Rick that they now have "two badass moms" in the form of the two Beths, despite one still married to Jerry. They couldn't care less who is real and who is the clone.

** The death laser leaving behind Wrangler jeans is a reference to the similar ReducedToDust laser in ''Film/WarOfTheWorlds''.

* DivergentCharacterEvolution: When Earth Beth asked Rick back in "The [=ABCs=] of Beth" to decide whether or not he wanted her in his life, he made a clone of her and sent one of them (nobody knows which one, not even Rick) into space and had one stay on Earth so she could have it both ways. They were initially the same person with all the same memories, but they made one major, opposite decision from each other, which has resulted in each of them becoming quite different in many ways:

* DoomsdayDevice: The NX-5 Planet Remover by Xamaxax can destroy planets with its powerful WaveMotionGun.
* DumbassHasAPoint: Rick has no response to Jerry sarcastically calling him "Father of the Year" about planting a bomb in Space Beth's Neck, other than a BigShutUp.

** Rick's runs out in full here. The Smith-Sanchez family decides to go hang out without him, all of them wanting nothing to do with himafter he pissed them all off and has repeatedly emotionally abused them. Rick himself [[HeelRealization even realizes this]] when he watches the memory to find out which Beth is the clone -- realizing what he's done to his daughter ''and'' that he erased his memory of it to avoid living with the guilt and shame, he curses himself as a terrible father and pointedly stays in the garage alone instead of trying to join the family in the house.

* ComplexityAddiction: Rick randomly swaps the two Beths so he won't know which one is the clone. Fair enough so far. He then also ''wipes his own memory'', despite him not having the memory to erase in the first place. This ends up backfiring on him when both his daughters realize he was lying to both of them. When Rick offers to play the memory back to find out the answer once and for all (not aware that it's actually TheUnReveal), they realize they don't care who the clone is and ditch him to hang out with each other instead.

* KarmaHoudiniWarranty: After suffering next to no consequences for all the things she did in the previous two seasons, Tammy gets beaten up by Summer and immediately afterwards [[BoomHeadshot shot in the head]] by Rick.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome:
** Therapists are people too and they may get annoyed by bad patients who don't respect them. Dr. Wong has every right to be annoyed when Rick levels her office, reveals he installed voice-activated weaponry, and leaves without letting her evacuate.
** Causing the Galactic Federation to collapse will not keep Earth safe indefinitely, as there is always ''someone'' out there trying to take over the galaxy, meaning that subsequent invasions of Earth are inevitable.
** Tammy is as injured by Rick setting her on fire as you would expect.
** The PostCreditsScene puts Jerry's newfound calling to a halt because he eventually has to refuel the invisible garbage truck and can't find its gas cap.

* ForWantOfANail: The whole plot starts because a doctor who is examining Space Beth discovers that Rick implanted an explosive device in her neck, and she decides to return to Earth to confront Rick about it and try to kill him.

* StunnedSilence / YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe: Jerry and Beth after Rick tells them about having put a bomb in Space Beth's neck in case she ever came back to Earth.

* WhatAnIdiot: {{Invoked}}. Rick lampshades that Jerry is dumb enough to mindlessly comply with his order for everyone to drop their guns and do it along with the Galactic Federation agents. He also for some reason throws out the invisibility belt rather than return it to Rick.
