This does not belong on the recap page. The speech itself happens in a different episode and the consequences of the speech happen in this episode, which cannot be listed on an earlier episode due to Recap page rules about not talking about later episodes before they happen. I've moved this to the main work page for covering too many episodes to fit on a recap page.

* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Marrow struggles to accept increasingly ruthless orders, until he finally reaches his breaking point and tells both Ironwood and his team-mates exactly how he feels about their behaviour. Holding the city of Mantle hostage with a bomb causes Marrow to explode in outrage at their willingness to "do Salem's job for her". He calls them out for making excuses, accusing them of believing in nothing and railing against Ironwood for betraying the ideals Marrow believed they were fighting for. This rant nearly earns Marrow a bullet in the back from ''Due Process'', with Winter's intervention saving him from execution.

Removing trope misuse (this trope is not for a short fight, it's for fights that are so one-sided, it's effortless to win; this fight took a good deal of effort for the heroes to win).

* CurbStompBattle: Ironwood does reasonably well considering his odds (being disarmed, caught off-guard and thoroughly outnumbered) but Winter, Emerald, Oscar, Jaune, Ren and Nora absolutely thrash him in minutes.

Revised entry

* RefuseToRescueTheDisliked: Discussed. When Jacques thanks Winter for agreeing to evacuate him to Vacuo, she makes it clear to him that it was Weiss's call, not hers, her expression and tone of voice heavily implying that she wouldn't bother to save him otherwise.
