* ExactWords: While fighting Tyrian, Qrow orders Team RNJR not to get close after a few members try to do so only to be swatted back by Tyrian. Ruby decides to help her uncle in a different way by positioning herself high up from afar to try and shoot at Tyrian with Crescent Rose. It doesn't work; she narrowly misses him the first time, and he blocks them all with his stinger the second time.

These are character tropes and already has examples on the appropriate page.

* s: Once again, Jacques. He hits Weiss for her defiance and detains her in the Schnee Manor, then tells her she's not the heiress anymore.

* BitchInSheepsClothing: Weiss' paranoia regarding Whitley's supportive behavior proves to be justified. All along, he's just been pretending to support her knowing that her rebellious behavior will get her disinherited like Winter was, leaving him as the sole heir because he behaves like the perfect son.

* CallingTheOldManOut: Weiss calls out her father Jacques, declaring that she'll leave and be a Huntress no matter what he says. She even puts a stop on his rant about "the Schnee name" by reminding him he married into that name, so it's not his to protect. Unfortunately, Jacques disinherits her as a result.

Trimmed down example.

* CallingTheOldManOut: After Jacques lectures her for inadvertently disrupting the Vale fundraiser, Weiss angrily tells him the Schnee name is her legacy to uphold as she was born a Schnee while he only married into the family. Jacques is forced to disinherit her as a result. In Volume 7, she deliberately disrupts an Atlas Council meeting to arrest Jacques by exposing his team-up with Watts to rig the election and discredit Ironwood.

Crosswicked, given that it was stripped from the character pages without being crosswicked to either the main work page or the recap page.

Tyrian being a Combat Pragmatist is on his character sheet because it's not episode-specific. Qrow isn't a Combat Pragmatist — tactics isn't the trope, and being able to fight unarmed as well as armed is just being a well-rounded fighter.

* CombatPragmatist: Both Qrow and Tyrian have this in full effect. First, Tyrian attacks Qrow mid-sentence. Then when Qrow is disarmed, he simply cracks his knuckle, shrugs and delivers a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown with his fists, knocking Tyrian off balance long enough to casually retrieve his weapon. Both fighters also have no issue with keeping their weapons' firearm capabilities hidden until they can shoot right into their opponent's face.
