Not So Different has been renamed, and it needs to be dewicked/moved

* NotSoDifferent: On the way to Nebulandia, [[TrueCompanions Luffy and Foxy share similar opinions about their crew mean to them]] and after the their victory Foxy clearly has much greater respect for Luffy and his crew.

* ReReleaseSoundtrack: Apparently Creator/{{Funimation}} weren't able to get the rights to the special's theme song, "Black Make Up", as it's replaced with "We Go!" on the English streaming and home video versions.

* WorfHadTheFlu: The island's effect pretty much nerfs Luffy's power who would've otherwise easily plowed through Komei's obstacles. Once the plants are burned and the water drained from the island, Luffy quickly takes Komei out with no problems.

* LuredIntoATrap: Komei does this to the Straw Hats multiple times, all cases of which also double as [[ObviousTrap Obvious Traps]] that the Straw Hats nonetheless have no choice but to walk right into anyway:
** After capturing Zoro and Sanji (and Porche and Hamburg from Foxy's crew), he brings them to Nebulandia because he knows the rest of the Straw Hats will follow, and that the nature of the island (which is very hazardous to Devil Fruit users) will weaken/incapacitate them. He also knows that they'll leave behind some of their members on Mushroom Island to find the cure for the Drowsy Mushroom, and leaves many of his forces behind to capture them too.
** At the climax of the movie, Komei brings the captured members (consisting so far of Zoro, Sanji, Robin, Franky, and Usopp) outside, promising to trade them for Luffy if he comes alone to give himself up. Of course, Komei has no intention of actually honoring this deal since he really just wants to capture the whole crew, and is using it as a way to lure Luffy to him. And indeed, Luffy knows fully well that the whole thing's a trap, but still goes anyway.

Has nothing to do with familiarity with in-universe fiction.

* GenreSavvy: The Straw Hats knew that Foxy would be back to his old ways once his crew was back. Though at least this time they left on better terms.

Dangerously Genre Savvy is being merged with Genre Savvy. Misuse and zero context examples will be cut.

* DangerouslyGenreSavvy: Komei apparently anticipated most of Luffy and Foxy's moves for the majority of the special, and disguises his traps as BondVillainStupidity. He starts his plan be incapacitating the strongest members of the crew, he knows exactly how to counter Luffy's moves when he tries to grab onto his ship (using slippery oil so it can't be grabbed and reflecting Foxy's Slow-Slow beam back at him to help him escape), he tells the Straw Hats which mushroom he used so that they'll get killed by the giant snake it grows on, and lures the rescue party onto an island that renders Devil Fruit users (the strongest remaining members on their crews) useless.
