Meanwhile, Pizzazz asks her father if he'd like to do anything with her for Father's Day. As always, he brushes his daughter off, saying he's busy with horse-related business. Clash invites her and the rest of The Misfits to her hometown of Mulberry. As it turns out, Clash and Video are cousins who live only a few doors down from each other.

Jerrica takes Kimber to the stables where they used to ride horses, hoping that will inspire her to write the song, but Kimber still refuses. While she's riding, Kimber falls off her horse and is knocked unconscious. Luckily, Pizzazz's father is nearby, and he helps Kimber. After Kimber wakes up, the two become close and bond over their similar familial problems. After avoiding it for the entire episode, Kimber finally decides to write the song.

Jerrica takes Kimber out to ride horses. Kimber has an accident and is knocked unconscious after being kicked off her horse. Luckily, Pizzazz's father is nearby, and he helps Kimber. After Kimber wakes up, the two become close and bond over their similar familial problems. After avoiding it for the entire episode, Kimber finally decides to write the song.

The episode ends with the concert at the Father's Day banquet, where Jem and the Holograms sing the song Kimber has written in memory of her father.

When Pizzazz sees Kimber arriving with her father at the banquet, she becomes ''very'' angry. She confronts her father about how he ignored her but could make time for Kimber. This causes him to become mad at Pizzazz as well. The two leave on negative grounds.

Her feelings over her dad's recent death are still too raw. Jerrica asks Kimber to write a song for a Father's Day banquet in Video's hometown, however Kimber angrily refuses to.
