[[folder:'''Long Student Council Training Arc Summary''']]
Iruma makes a declaration that he's decided on his ambition thanks to Ameri, which gets Ameri excited to know what it is. Unfortunately, it comes as a shock to her when he answers that it's to wear girls clothes and sing on stage. The result is Iruma happily transforming into female Akudol clothing while holding a microphone. Moments after, Ameri wakes up from the nightmare horrified at the thought that she's dreamt about Iruma wearing girl clothing for three days now.
\\\
During breakfast, Ameri is in video-phone talks with her father, who notices that something is off about her daughter due to her looking pale. Ameri tries to pass it off as just not getting enough sleep, but Azazel instantly questions if this is related to Iruma, which catches her off-guard. She struggles to deny it, and quickly heads off to Babyls to avoid continuing the conversation. Meanwhile Azazel calls out to Ameri ordering her not to associate with him.
\\\
At school, Ameri remains within the council room lost in thought to the point of not listening to her council subordinate. She apologizes for being out of sorts, which the council member states that they need to discuss the current goal of needing to scout out a new member for the student council. Ameri winds up hearing scout as "skirt" yelling at him why he said that, which confuses the council member. Realizing that she's still out-of-sorts due to the Iruma mishap, Ameri decides to go out on hall patrol.
\\\
As she walks through the hallway, Ameri thinks over how her situation isn't good due to not being able to focus on her work at the moment. Her thoughts instantly go to how she can't stop thinking about Iruma's "new hobby," and that it's led to her father also misunderstanding the situation. She tries to make it clear to herself that there's been nothing between her and Iruma since the beginning. However, she stops walking trying to think over what it is exactly that Iruma is to her. She figures that Iruma just being her junior doesn't fit. Same with being just a human, or a person that just reads "First Love Memories" to her. Ameri remembers how the reason she originally approached him was to find out if he was truly a human or not. Yet it turned out that he always found a way to surprise her. With her thoughts a bit more sorted out, Ameri admits that Iruma is an honest person, and that she should have a straight talk with him.
\\\
At that same time outside the building for the Abnormal Class, Iruma is seen with Kerori. Iruma is unable to handle the current situation, which turns out to be Kerori ordering him to put on the Akudol outfit she's holding. The scared Iruma asks why this is happening, which Kerori yells in annoyance that it's due to her fans wanting to know who the three mysterious Akudols are that appeared at her last concert. That they won't remain silent unless she has a picture of them wearing girls clothing. Kerori forces herself at Iruma trying to shove the Akudol outfit onto him, which the struggle results in him falling on top of her. Iruma asks for her to take it easy, but is suddenly shocked to see Ameri staring at him from around the corner. Ameri is unable to believe the sight of Iruma wearing girls clothing again, or that he's pushed a female student to the ground. Before Iruma could try to explain himself, Ameri orders him to come with her, and drags him off by the collar.
\\\
Iruma is brought to the council room. Standing in front of Ameri's desk, he remains frightened as to what she will do with him due to what she just saw. However, Ameri instead brings up how she wants to discuss the Battler division that Iruma chose since Kirio dropping out has brought the Magic Tools Research division to question. She explains that a Battler division requires either a 3rd-year student, or 3 students at Rank 4 (Daleth), to remain active, which the Magic Tools Research division currently doesn't meet the requirements. As a result, the division has been suspended, much to Iruma's shock at how sudden this is. However, Ameri explains that the division has only been "suspended," and will be allowed to start up again as long as Iruma's been trained and approved by the student council.
\\\
Iruma questions what she means by that, which Ameri shows him a permit form. She explains that as long as Iruma works for another division for several weeks, he will be given a letter of recommendation from that division's leader to approve of the Magic Tools Research division's recreation. She also adds that the same is being done for the other division's members, Azz and Clara. Azz was put in the Magecraft Development division that Jazz is part of due ot his ability to combine powers, and Clara was put in the Game division that Lied is part of due to her rich imagination. Meanwhile, a crying Azz is seen refusing to go along with it due to Iruma not being with him while Clara happily plays a game with Lied. Back to Ameri and Iruma, Ameri states that despite how sudden this is, it's her responsibility as the student council to manage all the Battler divisions, and that this will be a benefit to Iruma anyway since it will be a chance to improve his skills.
\\\
Iruma finally starts to catch on what's about to happen to him, which results in two council members grabbing his arms. Ameri then stands up telling Iruma that this will be an honor for him as he will be given the spot of a very limited role that many fellow demons desire. She states that they will be sure to provide help to fix that "personality" of his. Moments after, a scared Iruma is now seen wearing a student council uniform walking down the school hallway with Ameri and the other members of the student council, much to the surprise of all the students watching. Ameri then turns around and officially welcomes Iruma to the student council.
\\\
As a member of the student council, Iruma now has to sleep on campus with his fellow council members. He suddenly wakes up in bed due to a council member ordering him to get up. He also has to quickly straighten up, such as tidying up the bed, and putting on his uniform, in under 130 seconds to be ready for the day. Iruma is next seen standing with his fellow council members before Ameri within the council room. She yells out asking who they are, which Iruma and company answer that they're members of Babyls Demon School's student council.
\\\
Ameri orders them to do push-ups due to how slow their answer was, and then orders them to clean up the rubbish found on the school grounds. Moments after, Iruma is seen in the council's conference room helping Ameri and company get the high stacks of paperwork done. Iruma usually being tasked to photocopy certain papers and arrange papers based on school year. Ameri yells at them to speed up asking if they plan to waste the day getting nothing done. Iruma is shocked that all this needs to get done in just a single morning, but is scolded by a fellow member to reply with just "Yes, sir."
\\\
Moments after, Iruma is confused as to why he and his fellow council members are now suddenly tied up to threatening looking flying ball demons currently locked up in a cage behind him. Ameri explains that this is an exercise to train up one's stamina and endurance so that they don't just fall back on relying on their wings. Iruma remains scared pointing at the need for the caged demons, but Ameri simply adds that they are Blood-sucking Cayman meant to help them give it their all when it comes to exercising. A council member then gives a warning that said creatures will chew you up if they catch you as he opens the cage's door. Ameri then orders everyone to run for their life as Iruma and company follow after trying to stay ahead of the Cayman demons chasing them. Afterwards, Ameri is seen dragging an exhausted Iruma along as a Cayman had caught him and is trying to chomp on his leg.
\\\
Iruma continues to take part in student council work, such as discussing matters with teachers, checking on people arriving at school, and taking care of the garden. Due to not being ready to go out on patrol, a council member explains that it's necessary for Iruma to learn to walk like a noble that serves as an example for other students. As a result, Iruma ends up being put through a training that requires him to hold a stack of books on his head along with two buckets of water in each hand in order to fix his bad posture.
\\\
Once it's time for lunch, Iruma is shocked to find that the meal he and his fellow council members are given is just a single bean. Ameri warns that due to a red moon today, they must abstain from eating excessively. That they must concentrate to not fall for the deep desire within their stomachs. Iruma ends up falling into despair to the point of crying much to Ameri and company's confusion. The council member next to Iruma holds him up by the hair calling him pathetic for looking like a dying person on just the first day, which Iruma apologizes for. Iruma admits he's amazed that no one else is showing fatigue, which Ameri states that as a part of the student council, it's their job to set a pattern for the students to follow. As a result, even if they feel tired, they can't reveal their weakness. She says this while getting up, and kicking a nearby demon student in the head to the point of knocking him out.
\\\
She orders her surprised council subordinates to tie him up as it turns out that the purpose of today's patrol is to deal with demons who are going through their "demon-cycle." Ameri then points to a small demon student under the one she just knocked out that was about to be eaten by the demon-cycle student. The council subordinates quickly tie up the demon as Iruma states his amazement not being able to notice a demon that was in demon-cycle mode. In return, Ameri states that this is nothing as she's just doing her work as the president of all students within the school. The statement impresses Iruma to the point of him thinking that Ameri is really cool.
\\\
Once the school day is over, Sullivan arrives at the student council room with goodies for Iruma. However, Ameri opens the room's front door window, and orders Sullivan to not spoil Iruma as he's in the middle of training. Sullivan tries to plead his case through the window, such as the fact that he's the principal. However, Ameri stands her ground refusing his entry since she's the one in charge of the student council division. Sullivan is left crying outside the council room, which surprises Iruma that someone other than Opera is able to talk back to the principal. Ameri then orders Iruma to take his council uniform off, which disturbs Iruma. An embarrassed Ameri yells at him that it's nothing like his imagination is implying. She then starts to twiddle her hair, and reminds him that the uniform will kill the atmosphere since today is "that" day. Moments after, Iruma is seen in normal clothing in the usual setting where he's standing and reading Volume 15 of "First Love Memories" for an excited Ameri.
\\\
Once Iruma is done with the volume, Ameri happily claps at how great and interesting the story of "First Love Memories" has been so far. Iruma points out how peaceful this moment has been, which leaves Ameri confused. He explains that school president Ameri and the Ameri who's currently enjoying "First Love Memories" come off as two completely different people, which Ameri makes it clear that she just wants to be known as "Ameri" when it's just the two of them on their own time. Ameri then quietly notes that Iruma finds her president mode to be scary. Iruma asks what she just said, but Ameri quickly denies she said anything. As she goes to grab her cup of tea, the handle breaks, which causes it to crash to the floor. Iruma asks if she's okay, which she reassures him that it was just a broken handle. However, she also notes that this is a sign of bad luck. Elsewhere, a shady person is seen in a cavern-looking area working with a bunch of potions. Said person puts his hand over a picture of Ameri, and claims that it won't be long before Ameri Azazel is finally dealt with.
\\\
Some time after, Iruma is seen once more going through his morning routine as a member of the student council. Only this time around, he's gotten used to said routine where he wakes up ready, fixes his bed, and quickly puts on his council uniform under the time limit. Like before, Ameri yells at them asking who they are, which Iruma can now yell along with the other members that they're the student council of Babyls. In addition, he's gotten the hang of handling paperwork, is easily able to outrun the Cayman demons during exercise training, gotten used to discussing things with the teachers along with greeting demons arriving at school, and has gotten used to taking care of the school garden of demon plants. His stance training with the books and water buckets has been a success, and has accepted only being able to eat a bean for lunch. The council members notice how the bean eating is still hard for Iruma since he's still reduced to crying, but another notes that Iruma is still doing well sitting up straight despite the struggle.
\\\
A council member provides Iruma with a magic circuit puzzle to get his mind of still being hungry. He explains to Iruma that it's a tool used to practice one's magic adjustment skills, and that the goal is to create a thread of magic using imagination, and send said thread into the puzzle's keyholes. The explanation reminds Iruma of what he was told from Ali that imagination is basic groundwork of magic. Iruma tries to imagine a thread, but ends up struggling, which results in the council members viewing Iruma as really clumsy. One member points out that Iruma has to just practice more to open it while the other points out how sweet that was for master to say. The master (revealed to be named Johnny) tells his fellow member (revealed to be named Quiche) to stop calling him that as they're in the same school year, but Quiche points out that it still counts since Johnny joined the council before him. Johnny remains annoyed that such a comment may lead to people getting the wrong idea as if he was held back a year, which Quiche finally admits to drop.
\\\
At this point, Iruma butts into the conversation asking them why they joined the student council. However, Johnny and Quiche both answer that it's a secret due to it being a long story. Quiche repeats a saying regarding how the reason could be anything from dreams, money, power, and desire, but that they can't freely talk about it due to a lack of confidence. In the end though, he points out that the reason they joined was because of their current student council president, which Johnny agrees with. Johnny continues by pointing out how Ameri is the symbol of Babyls, and how the amount of work she has to take on is uncountable. Yet despite that, she's able to do all of it to the point of being an outstanding figure that has no visible weakness. As a result, Johnny speaks for all the council members that they're fortunate enough to have become subordinates of such a charismatic person. Johnny also adds that he felt jealous that Ameri scouted out Iruma to join the council, which shocks the latter. However, Johnny leaves off instructing Iruma that he just needs to be more aware of his responsibilities.
\\\
Meanwhile, Ameri and the other two student council subordinates are seen watching Iruma chat with Johnny and Quiche from afar. The one female council subordinate points out that Iruma has adapted wel while the other praises his guts and thick-skin. The female subordinate then reminisces of how Ameri had gone around to recruit her four lower student council members, which becomes clear that they all started off as delinquents that Ameri whipped into shape. She points out that Ameri seems to have a common habit of seeking out the weird ones, but Ameri makes it clear that the reason she picked them out was because of how interesting they are much to her subordinates' confusion. At this point, an announcement from the Broadcasting division is made over the school loudspeaker asking for Ameri to head to Preparation Room One, which Ameri begins to make her way towards.
\\\
The female subordinate asks if they should accompany her, but Ameri replies that it won't be needed, and that they should continue doing their jobs while she's gone. As Ameri walks through the hallway, she happily thinks over how Iruma was praised for his guts, and that he's done a good job taking his work seriously. Believing that having Iruma on the team is a good thing, she's left hoping that things stay the way they are since he still has room to grow. Ameri then decides that once the school day ends, she's going to propose the idea to Iruma to make him an official member of the student council. Arriving at Preparation Room One, Ameri comes across a covered up demon who seems to be moaning in pain. A worried Ameri approaches him asking what's wrong, but the cloaked demon gives off a smile, and proceeds to catch Ameri off-guard by spraying her with some sort of potion.
\\\
Back at the student council room, Johnny begins to worry that the president is running late. The Broadcasting president, Baraki, then comes rushing into the room asking where Ameri is, which leaves Johnny confused since the Broadcasting division asked her to go to Preparation Room One. However, Baraki explains that the Broadcasting division did no such action as they're all outside collecting news; leaving Iruma and company shocked. Iruma and the other council members race their way towards Preparation Room One angry that they should have been more cautious leaving the president on her own. Once they reach said room, they find Ameri lying on the floor unconscious. Before having the chance to call for medical help, Ameri appears to wake up normally without any visible physical injuries. However, Iruma and the four council subordinates end up being surprised by something else instead. Ameri begins to blush, and she nervously holds her body begging them to bring her clothes due to how embarrassing it is that she's exposing so much skin. Such words leave Iruma and company stunned in disbelief at the Ameri they're currently witnessing as it turns out that the potion she was hit by had changed her personality.
\\\
A story recap is provided explaining that Babyls Demon School consists of 666 students amongst its 6 grade levels. As a result, the student council exists to maintain order and security amongst the many co-existing demons. Said council is usually meant to frighten the students as a noble and cold-blooded elite group of demons, but in the present, it comes as a surprise to the students when they spot the persona-changed Ameri walking down the hallway kindly telling people to have a nice day. Rumors begin to spread of how Ameri is acting like a completely different person, and is even coming off as cute, much to the students enjoyment. Iruma watches on finding the attention off-putting, but the female council subordinate assures him that based on what the medical staff said, Ameri's personality should eventually return as long as they continue their daily routine.
\\\
Moments beforehand, Iruma remains on standby within the schoom Medical Office watching Ameri get checked over by the teacher, Momonoki. Ameri answers the teacher's questions about her memories, which all appear to be in order, but Ameri then blushes in embarrassment reminiscing about how she's been a little rough. Momonoki confirms that Ameri's memories haven't been tampered with, but also admits that she's never heard of magic that forces a demon to enter and remain in "Maiden Mode." Iruma asks if this can be fixed, which Momonoki compares the magic to a knitted sweater crafted by an amateur. They can't forcefully unwind it if they don't want to cause unnecessary damage Ameri. However, Momonoki also figures that since it was only a simple magic that Ameri was hit by, it will just slowly go away over time. In the end, Momonoki informs Iruma and the rest of the down-in-the-dumps student council that their only option is to watch over Ameri as she slowly changes back to normal.
\\\
At the start of another school day, the student council attempts to begin their normal routine standing ready before their president within the council room. Unfortunately, Maiden Mode Ameri throws them off with her first action being to offer them sweets and tea. Thus, the council takes a seat at a table, and go through a variety of emotions feeling uncomfortable with the change of pace. It's then time for the daily paperwork, but ends up taking awhile due to Ameri taking things real slow. However, the council can't bring themselves to criticize her due to Maiden Mode Ameri being so cute while she works. Ameri then goes on to take part in the other jobs given to the student council. Though Iruma and company are seen doing most of the work for her.
\\\
Eventually, Ameri asks Quiche if he's okay since she's just coming off as someone in the way. Quiche assures her that she's not, but when Ameri starts to become sad that she's struggling despite wanting to help, Iruma, Quiche and Johnny instantly realize that they need to cheer her up. Johnny mentions that things are still going as normal while Quiche adds that there's no problems, which brightens Ameri back up. Once Ameri leaves however, Iruma and company all collapse in fatigue. Iruma notes that their situation is not okay at all as the other two council members arrive also tired as can be. They all end up agreeing that the president is amazing given that despite her work being divided amongst the five subordinates, they're struggling to get her daily work done.
\\\
At this point, Johnny repeats the words told to them by Kalego. That as the student council, they need to continue serving as an example for the school as the ones who stand firm and remain persistent. Kalego had also warned them that since the current symbol (Ameri) has been reduced to a miserable state, it will obviously result in setting a bad example. As a result, the student council division will be suspended should this problem continue. Upon remembering Kalego's words, the student council confirm that their prime objective is to find the culprit. However, they also point out their current issues, which is that they need to continue the student council work, and need to search for more clues. Iruma asks how they will find the culprit, which Quiche admits that there's still too many students that they will need to talk to and narrow down.
\\\
At this point, Iruma and company have arrived back at the council room, but are put off by a strange smell coming from it. Johnny storms in knowing what the smell is only to be shocked at the sight of a fabulous pretty-boy demon student having decorated the council room with hundreds of flowers. Said demon takes a seat on the couch, and excitedly greets Iruma and company entering the room. Iruma remains confused as to who this is, which Quiche states is one of the most suspicious people they were going to question first. The demon then proudly introduces himself that he's Ronove Lomiere; someone who claims to have a name so fabulous that he has to say it out loud. Ronove continues to yell that he's here speaking in a high voice after being ignored by the student council many times before. He then announces that it will be he and his Discipline division, which consists of two supporting female demon students, that will now be taking over the student council. Ronove once again introduces himself as Iruma and the four council subordinates remain irritated that they now got a new problem.
\\\
Maiden Mode Ameri arrives at the council room only to be surprised by the chaos Ronove's causing. Iruma asks Quiche what the Discipline division is, and is told that they're the closest thing to the student council having a rival opponent. He explains that their activities are quite similar to what the council does, but are a group that loves to be under the spotlight. Johnny then angrily steps forward, grabs hold of Ronove, and accuses him of benefiting the most should the current student council fall apart. Johnny questions Ronove as the one who attacked the president, but Ronova remains confused, and becomes nervously disgusted at a guy touching him. Once Johnny lets go, Ronove tries to catch his breath not being able to handle a guy touching him for five seconds, which Quiche points out to Iruma that this is why Ronove doesn't go outside much.
\\\
Once Ronove's calmed down, he gets back to the topic at hand, and points at Ameri claiming that he won't give up this great opportunity. Ronove makes the announcement that while Ameri's in a weakened state, he will have a one-on-one dissolution election match with the student council. Basically, a division representative can challenge the student council to a one-on-one election when a lot of students aren't satisfied with the current student council, and the division who comes out the loser of said election will be dissolved immediately. Ronove then shows off a long list of all the signatures he obtained through his reputation, which Quiche notices are all from divisions that they went about banning. Iruma asks if it's possible to decline, but is told it's impossible due to it being a school rule.
\\\
Ronove walks toward Ameri explaining that no one has dared to ever challenge the student council due to Ameri's prestige. However, that's all changed due to the current Maiden Mode Ameri being a lovable person. Ronove then caresses and smells Ameri's hair claiming that he's considering making her his secretary for his new student council. The council subordinates are enraged by the act, but before they could move to protect their president, Iruma had already gone in first, and slaps Ronove's hand away from Ameri. Everyone is unable to say anything until Ronove asks who he is. Iruma quickly apologizes for his action, but points out the issue he has that touching a girl's hair is very impolite; leaving Ameri blushing.
\\\
Ronove falls in despair as his supporters come to his aid yelling at Iruma for saying such a thing to him, but the crying Ronove comes to accepting Iruma's hostility. Ronove quickly gets over it, and makes his way out of the room while announcing that he will be sure to remove all of the council's current members. In return, Johnny yells at him to stop putting flower petals everywhere. Meanwhile, Iruma is left thinking to himself that he shouldn't do what he did again while Ameri remains silent due to Iruma protecting her. Quiche and Johnny then pat Iruma on the back for protecting the president from Ronove, which brightens Iruma back up. Johnny then states to the group that this was clearly something that Ronove had been planning for a long time, and that they need to start preparing, much to Iruma's bewilderment. Moments later Ronove and his division subordinates begin their election campaign.
\\\
Ronove's seen on the campus grounds loudly greeting all the nearby normal students, and is able to easily grab everyone's attention. This is due to his bloodline magic being Charisma, which allows for him to steal all the attention no matter what the situation is. Ronove announces to everyone that should he be made student council leader, he will cut the time for classes in half, and use the rest for field trips. In addition, the school facility will be turned into a leisure facility, and time for holidays will increase. Finally, a wine fountain and meat trees will be installed and they will have a lot more parties. One student watching asks Ronove if he really can do all this, but Ronove replies that he cant guarantee it, which shocks everyone. However, Ronove continues his speech claiming that even if he can't get everything, he will do everything he's capable of to make a more interesting life for everyone compared to the current student council. Some of the students remain unconvinced, but still remain highly interested in Ronove's ideas, who yells at them to sing a song about him.
\\\
Meanwhile, the current council watches from afar as Ameri is attempting to get her election campaign going. Iruma notices how lively Ronove's side is, which Quiche points out is a given due to Ronove's attention getting persona. Maiden Mode Ameri tries to give her speech to the students, but is struggling to speak properly while holding a stack of papers of the words she needs to day. She tries to state that she will make a budget for school renovation, but her nervousness causes her to drop her papers. The few watching students try to cheer her on, which Quiche notes that her few fans are just sympathizers rather than supporters. Overall, Johnny states his worry that they're at a clear disadvantage. He explains that it's a given amongst demons to be attracted towards stuff that is interesting. As a result, relying on this is a good strategy, such as Ronove's campaign to bring more fun and joy to the school. In addition, the student council itself has lost a majority of the students looking up to them since they're just appearing as cute rather than being a reliable bunch leading with a certain attitude.
\\\
Ameri tries to apologize for her current failure, which Iruma tries to cheer her up claiming that there's still students supporting her, and Quiche adds in that they should just do what they can for now. In return, Ameri accepts their words as Johnny gets to working on a new script for her. At that moment, Iruma decides he needs to do whatever he can, and proceeds to make a phone call. Azz is seen walking in the school hallway with Jazz as the latter tries to talk about their Magecraft Development division. Unfortunately, Azz remains cold not wanting to talk about it, which confuses Jazz since he was under the belief that they've gotten closer ever since the Cannonball Execution exam. At that moment, Azz's phone starts ringing, and he brightens back up hearing Iruma. Thus, leaving Jazz impressed that Iruma can control Azz. Meanwhile at the Game division, Lied is seen having trouble controlling Clara, who's just doing whatever she wants within the game room. Even cutting a a cord controlling precious data. Lied falls into despair unable to understand how Iruma and Azz can play with someone like Clara all day, but at that point, Clara receives a phone call from Iruma as well.
\\\
Back on Iruma's side, Iruma is glad to hear that Azz and Clara have agreed to help him. For a moment, he thinks about asking for Kalego's help as well, but decides against it knowing that the teacher will get mad. Maiden Mode Ameri then comes up behind Iruma, and asks if she can have a talk with him. Moments after, Iruma is now sitting alone within the student council lounge room waiting on Ameri. Iruma questions why the president isn't here, which Ali finally reappears out of the ring offering advice on the creatures known as women. Ali warns Iruma to always be on guard or else. Iruma becomes excited about Ali appearing, but before he could ask the ring spirit any questions, Ali asks the boy to listen to him.
\\\
Ali gets angry pointing out how it's been a while, yet he's been cast aside by master Iruma like a ragdoll, and has been spending more time with Ameri to the point of flirting. Iruma tries to explain that it's been due to his school work, but Ali sighs in disbelief. The spirit takes the form of a tired woman drinking while claiming that at the very least, it's not like he's the one forcing Iruma to choose between work and himself. He asks if Iruma truly thinks honesty is important, which Iruma finally apologizes for casting Ali aside like a ragdoll. He asks for Ali to explain the magic that's affected the president, which Ali blushes seeing that the boy can't do anything without his help. Ali assures Iruma that from his observations, he could tell that the magic is losing its effect, much to Iruma's surprise. However, Ali also points out that there's a problem.
\\\
The spirit explains that magic has different effects depending on the target, such as ice working well against fire-using demons, or how curses that cause mental breakdown don't work on already gloomy people. As a result, Ali could tell that there's a certain part of Ameri that's been modified by the magic that she still hasn't been able to break free of just yet. He assures Iruma that Ameri still has a chance to fully recover, but they have to continue waiting. Iruma is glad to hear that there's a chance, but at this point, Ameri finally enters back into the room looking seemingly normal. Iruma gets excited that Ameri looks okay now since she's wearing her exotic school clothing again, but as Ameri tries to say his name with confidence, she goes back to her nervous Maiden Mode persona feeling embarrassed, and asks Iruma not to look at her.
\\\
The confused Iruma asks what happened, which Ameri states that she thought she would go back to normal if she went back to wearing her usual clothing. Ameri explains how she's been worried that she's been giving eveyone a hard time, and at this rate, will lose the election. She figured that the best place to start was to try wearing her old clothing again, yet nothing's changed. Iruma tries to cheer her up claiming that she's doing her best as they all work on the council together. However, Ameri makes it clear that she hasn't done anything, and that she already knows that the other council members have been doing all her work. As a result, she states that the only one she can truly rely on is Iruma. Looking happier, Ameri states that she likes everyone in the student council. Not just because they all care for her. But also because their loyalty makes her feel delighted and warm inside.
\\\
However, Ameri changes tone, and brings up the issue that she's only respected because of the perfect image her other self gives off. That her original self is the one who's admired by everyone. Iruma tries to interrupt, but she continues on claiming that she's scared that even though she claims to be confident in handling all the school's problems, she's not confident to do it. Falling to tears, Ameri's scared of failing to the point of believing that it will bring mockery to the ones she cares about, and that she's not going to live up to everyone's expectations. As a result, Ameri's decided that she will run away rather than face the challenge, and resign from being the student council leader to becoming just a normal student. She points out that just the basic peaceful activities that she's been spending with Iruma without a care in the world is all she needs. Overall, Ameri makes a declaration that if Iruma chooses to accept her Maiden Mode persona, she will gladly stay in said mode forever if it means she can be with him side-by-side. However, Iruma quickly rejects it claiming that it's an empty idea, which surprises Ameri.
\\\
Iruma explains that all he's interested in is ambition, and that Ameri was someone who was always honest about her ambitions. He points out that the reason people like her is because she went about her ambitions with confidence to overcome the many difficulties she faced. Iruma then reassures Ameri that all she needs to do is follow what she really wants, and to be sure that it's what she truly wants. That she should only resign if she can't do that with the rest of the student council. Iruma then reminds Ameri of her subordinates that it's not the presidential position that they're following, but the one known as Ameri. Unable to counter, Ameri falls to her knees pointing out how she's now really timid and can't give instructions. However, Iruma assures her it's alright and that they will support her. Iruma then holds Ameri's face with his hands reassuring her that everything is fine, and asks her to raise her head. He states to her face-to-face that despite her appearance and personality change, she should still go after her dream, and make it true, because she's a wonderful girl. The moment causes Ameri to heat up and blush immensely, which Iruma lets go and quickly apologizes for. However, Ameri tells him not to worry.
\\\
Stating she will do her best, she then holds her hand out for Iruma to take asking if he will have her back, which Iruma replies he will, and takes her hand. As time goes by, Ameri and Ronove continue with their campaigns until the day of the Dissolution Election Match arrives. Meanwhile, Azz and Clara are seen meeting together on campus. A clocked Azz remains confused as to why Clara is holding a large magnifying glass, which she explains that she's conducting an investigation. That while working for her temporary division, she will do what Iruma asked her to and find the culprit behind Ameri's transformation (which Azz is doing as well). Clara also points out that she's currently looking for a borrowed game from her division, which shocks Azz that she's doing two similar tasks. She asks what Azz's objective is, which he answers it's to collect research data for something unknown. The two pool their information where Clara is searching for a borrowed personality difference dating game called "Yamato Nadeshikohen," and Azz has to collect research data on material modification magic. The result is the two being shocked that their objectives are quite similar.
\\\
As the election begins, Iruma thinks to himself about what Ali told him. That her memories are stuck on something, and that he has to fix it before Ameri gets stuck in Maiden Mode forever. Meanwhile, Ameri and Ronove stand on floating platforms over everyone as the audience chants the 10 demon rankings from Aleph to Yod. Broadcasting president, Baraki, serves as the announcer as he yells for everyone to choose their president since the one-on-one Dissolution Election Match is about to begin. He explains that both will be provided a 3 minute time limit to give their speeches, and that once both speeches are done, everyone will put in their votes.
\\\
The first to say their speech is Ronove, which he makes clear that his main proposal is to provide pleasure for everyone. He asks why they don't just make the school a paradise as it's a student's duty to find joy in studying. As a result, he claims that he's going to build an amusement park. He then proudly states that even if it's just an empty dream, he will not lose heart. That one should fight to the end believing they will succeed, even if the odds are against them. He ends his speech claiming that boredom is worthless, and that hardship isn't something to be proud of as it's pleasure that people should truly cherish. Because of that, he asks for everyone to join him in creating the ideal paradise for everyone. He then yells for everyone to say his name, which the audience all begin yelling out "Ronove!" in excitement.
\\\
Iruma and the council subordinates watch on from the audience shocked by the loud cheers. Johnny complains that Ronove is taking advantage of Ameri's personality change, and his Charisma blood-line ability, to gain popularity to the point of having the entire school in the palm of his hand. Quiche figures that things should work out in the end if they can just find evidence on Ameri's attacker, but is told that their only hope at this point is to believe in the current Maiden Mode Ameri to defeat Ronove. However, Ameri is seen on her platform nervously holding a paper of her prepared speech. Baraki announces that Ameri will now give her speech, but she winds up struggling to get her first words out.
\\\
Ameri's mood dampens while thinking to herself that she knew her voice wasn't going to be able to reach them. However, the thought of not being able to reach out results in her thinking back to the moment when Iruma held her face, and told her to raise it. Sure enough, Ameri raises up her head, and looks down on all the students in the audience still chanting Ronove's name. At this point, Ameri starts to remember what she's been fighting for this whole time. She starts her speech by yelling that she's weak. She explains that she can't do anything without the help of those around her, which left her humiliated to the point of trying to escape. However, there was one person who continued to have faith in her, and that this person believes in her desire. The sight of Ameri's confidence returning causes all the demons chanting Ronove's name to go silent in shock as they begin to listen to Ameri's speech.
\\\
Ameri claims that she's realized what she wants to do after looking down at everyone. That despite being weak, she refuses to give up the position, because more than anything else, she wants to make Babyls Demon School the best of all schools. She goes on stating that just because they're now students, it doesn't change the fact that they're still demons. The same demons who still have desire as their true nature. She yells for them to not be spoiled by pleasure, and instead continue to take pride in their desire. The words continue to resonate within the demon audience as she asks them what their desire is, and if they're still aiming to fulfil it. Ameri yells that if they can't fulfil the dream they desire, then learning will give them the skills to do that. At this point, the magic keeping Ameri in Maiden Mode finally wears off as the last knock holding her down is finally broken. She reminds them all that Babyls Demon School is a place to nurture evil demons, and yells that if they truly want to grab hold of their desire, then they should say nothing and follow her ambition.
\\\
With her speech over, the audience all begins to excitedly cheer at Ameri, who is surprised to find that she's finally recovered from the mist that was covering her mind. She looks toward her council subordinates in the audience. All of which have broken out into happy tears having witnessed their president give an incredible speech. Meanwhile, Ronove has fallen over in a state of shock unable to handle Ameri's words, and is currently being attended to by his Discipline division subordinates. Ameri continues to think things over believing that she's able to faint, but still needs to tell the people she cares about that everything is okay, and that they've worked hard. She then looks to a specific person amongst the student council members watching, and sees the bright image of Iruma cheering her on. Ameri is shocked that during this important moment, she's finally become fully aware of it. She thinks about how Iruma conveyed his feelings to her, and how he makes her smile. That despite not once thinking about it, he's the first person that made her want to say her thoughts and ambition in front of a huge crowd. As a result, Ameri begins to cry and waves towards her audience. She thinks to herself that she can't believe that she may have fallen for Iruma.
\\\
Some time after the election, Iruma is on the phone with Ameri telling her that he ate fish for breakfast, but was so good that he probably over-ate. Ameri suggests that they go for a run to keep Iruma from slacking off, but given what Iruma knows about the student council's training, he quickly rejects it. He then asks about the council, which Ameri answers that things are getting back to normal, but that it feels a little lonely now that Iruma's gone. Iruma asks if Ameri really feels that way, but she answers that it's nothing. She then tells him that today's the same as always as she walks down the school hallway waving at all the students cheering at her.
\\\
Flashing back to moments after the election, Ronove remains lying on the council room's couch surrounded by flowers in despair and defeat. Johnny reminds him that the election was Ameri's victory, and asks if Ronove is ready for what comes next. Ronove states that he accepts the Discipline division being disbanded, but Johnny yells angrily that that's not what he wants. He orders Ronove to reveal the magic that he cast upon the president, but Ronove remains confused just like before. Ronove tries to explain that he would never do something so gaudy, but Johnny remains unconvinced to the point of grabbing Ronove's shirt. At this point, Iruma gets a call, and informs them that they've caught the culprit, much to everyone's confusion.
\\\
Shortly after, Azz and Clara arrive in the council room with a glasses-wearing demon that they've captured and tied up. Said demon is Elicos Schenell, a 2nd-year student that Azz and Clara tracked down based on the equipment he borrowed from the Magic Development and Game divisions. They eventually came across the spot where he manufactured the perfume that transformed Ameri, and proceeded to catch him. Still angry, Johnny grabs hold of Elicos asking why he's trying to overthrow the president. However, Elicos just starts laughing since they're not able to see that his plan was far grander than just overthrowing the president. He yells proudly that his overall ambition is to make a gentle president Ameri, and to sear the sight of it into his eyes. Johnny and company are put off by Elicos' desire as the latter yells that he's the captain of the president's new defense troops (basically, a group of fanboys). He claims to have been watching the president from afar along with her chest filled with valiance. That as captain, it is his duty to accomplish the goal of seeing the rare sight of gentle Ameri.
\\\
At this point, Ameri and her 4 council subordinates stand before Elicos in a threatening manner, which Elicos starts to fear for the worst. Ameri accepts Elicos words, and states that she will gladly give him a special treat if he wants to look at her so badly. She orders her subordinates to make him run the student council training course 50 times, which they quickly agree to as two subordinates carry the tired up Elicos out of the room to begin the training. Ameri then turns her attention to Ronove, and asks if he's interested in joining the student council. Ronove is caught off-guard not understanding the offer, which Ameri explains that it's because what Ronove did made things interesting. He asks if he will get to show off, which Ameri answers that as long as he puts in good results on the tough work he will be given, he can be as showy as he wants. As a result, Ronove accepts to join the council. He warns Ameri to be careful or else he will take the council from her, but Ameri accepts the challenge. As Ronove shows himself off to his new councilmates, Ameri turns her attention Iruma, who's currently with Azz and Clara thanking them for their efforts.
\\\
Ameri informs Iruma that he must make a choice at this very moment. She explains that Iruma has completed his training for the student council splendidly, which as a result, they will approve of reopening the Magic Tools Research division. However, Ameri will also gladly accept him with open arms should he stay with the student council. She asks if Iruma is willing to stay with them, but Iruma rejects her with an apology. He explains that the student council was a fun and invaluable experience due to its intense physical and mental training. However, it's for this reason that he's decided that rather than being swept along with the student council's ambitions, he will continue with his own division for the sake of finding his own ambition. He then thinks about Kirio, and states that he will be waiting for someone to return despite not knowing if said person actually wants Iruma to wait for him. In the end, Ameri accepts Iruma's desire, and states that he definitely fits better within his Magic Tools Research division. With that, Iruma's training is over, and the new student council has been established peacefully.
\\\
Back to the present, Iruma is still on the phone with Ameri assuring her that he's fine, and that their next reading session can be tomorrow. After hanging up, Ali then appears pointing out that this turned out to be a happy ending. He brings up the turning point of Ameri during the moment where she looked up at her audience during the election and remembered her ambition. That this was the moment where the knot holding her back was finally snapped. He teases Iruma that he's lucky to have such a prima donna girlfriend, which Iruma blushes trying to say that Ali is wrong on this. Ali then transforms into Clara asking if his girlfriend is this weird one, but Iruma once more rejects it and asks for Ali to stop. Ali thinks to himself that he's catching on to what Iruma is thinking, and that Iruma is avoiding this topic when Iruma tries to explain that Ameri wasn't thinking of anything else other than the scene she saw. Iruma next asks what the spell actually did to Ameri, which Ali answers that it was due to Ameri "wanting to be cute," which confuses Iruma. Ali teases Iruma again asking if he also wanted that, but Iruma quickly denies it.
\\\
Switching over to Ameri the moment she wrapped up her call with Iruma, she suddenly blushes immensely thinking that it made her so nervous talking to him. She questions herself if she ended up saying anything weird, and hopes that her voice sounded normal over the phone. She then begins to sweat thinking over how troublesome it is dealing with the feeling known as love. Images of Iruma keep popping into her head as she thinks about his dazzling face, how she feels so restless whenever she's beside him, and how she doesn't understand why he's so cool and cute. Overall, Ameri scratches her head unable to understand why she didn't just convince him to join the student council. Ameri then looks at herself in a mirror. She finds herself to be looking very gallant for a girl, and that maybe she should try to come off a little cuter. However, she decides not to upon remembering Iruma assuring her that she's a wonderful girl no matter her appearance. Ameri then pulls out a photo that was taken after the election of the student council along with Iruma, Ronove, Azz, and Clara. Seeing herself looking in at Iruma in the picture, she states that Iruma better be prepared, because she's determined when it comes to her ambitions. Thus, making it quite clear that one of her new ambitions is Iruma.

!!!Chapter 47: The Demonic Student Council

!!!Chapter 48: The Crumbling Heroine

!!!Chapter 49: The Devil Maiden

The student council establishes their main goal, which is to find the culprit behind Ameri's transformation. Upon returning to the council room however, they're greeted by Ronove Lomiere, the fabulous performing lead student of the school's Discipline division. Ronove announces his intentions to take over the student council having grown tired of being ignored by it. Thus, making him a prime suspect behind Ameri's transformation. Ameri's subordinates accuse Ronove of attacking the president, but Ronove appears to not know anything about that. He then gets back to the topic at hand, and claims that while the student council's president is in a state of weakness, it's the perfect time to challenge her to a one-on-one Dissolution Election Match.

The rules of the election is that if many students are dissatisfied with the current student council, a Battler division can challenge them for the right to become the new student council. The loser of the election would then have their division dissolved immediately. Ronove shows off a long list of signatures he gathered of dissatisfied students, and makes a move on Ameri inviting her current Maiden Mode form to be his new council secretary. However, Iruma steps in and defends her; claiming that suddenly touching a girl's hair is impolite, and leaves Ameri impressed. Despite the rude action, Ronove accepts Iruma's scolding, and heads off to begin his election campaign, which the council begins preparing for as well.

After hearing Ronove's declaration of war,
Ameri's subordinates accuse Ronove him of attacking the president, but Ronove appears to not know anything about that. Iruma is brought back to the council room, and remains on standby until Ameri is ready for the talk. At this point, Ali finally appears again out of the Gluttony Ring warning Iruma to always be on his guard when it comes to women. However, Ali also displays anger that Iruma's been ignoring him up to this point in favor of Ameri. Iruma apologizes for ignoring him, and asks if Ali knows about the magic affecting Ameri. He assures Iruma that it's close to wearing off, but that there's a knot in the magic that Ameri is currently having trouble getting over.

Ameri then enters the room trying to display confidence, but once more falls back into her nervous Maiden Mode. She explains her recent worries about how she's been a burden to the student council, and to the people that she's come to really care for. In addition, she remains worried that the people she cares for are only interested in her former confident persona rather than the nervous one she is currently. As a result, she claims that she would rather run away than end up a failure, which would bring mockery to the one's she cares about.

Making a declaration to Iruma, Ameri states that she would gladly stay in Maiden Mode if it means that she can stay with him. However, Iruma rejects Ameri, and reminds her of her ambition. That it's her drive towards the ambition she wants, and overcoming the many challenges said ambition brings, that has led to many people wanting to follow her, such as her council subordinates. Ameri remains unconvinced, but Iruma then holds her head, and says face-to-face to her that she's a wonderful girl, that she should keep her head up, and continue following her dream to make it come true despite having gone through a change. The moment leaves a huge impression on Ameri, and finally calms down. She asks for Iruma to have her back, which he takes her hand and accepts.

As the day of the Dissolution Election Match arrives, Azz and Clara meet behind-the-scenes having been recruited by Iruma to search for the culprit behind Ameri's transformation. The two of them chat about their current objectives for their temporary Battler divisions, and come to realize that both the tasks they've been given are somewhat related to Ameri's current predicament: Clara needing to search for a borrowed persona difference dating game, and Azz needing to pick up research data on material modification magic.

!!Short Student Council Training Arc Summary

As the days go by, Ameri is still struggling to handle the thought of Iruma being a pervert that wears female clothing. So much so that she's unable to get her work done for the student council, such as the need to scout out a new member. Ameri thinks over her current friendship with Iruma unable to put together what he is to her, and decides that she needs to have a straight talk with him. Unfortunately, the misunderstanding continues when she comes across him with Kerori forcing female clothing upon him again for the sake of her secret Akudol job.

Ameri drags Iruma back to the council room where she brings up the issue that due to Kirio's departure, the Magic Tools Research Battler division no longer has the requirements, such as a participating 3rd-year student, to remain active. As a result, the division's remaining members are required to spend weeks participating in other Battler divisions to earn letters of recommendation from their leaders in order to recreate their division. Azz and Clara wind up being put into the Magecraft Development and Game divisions respectively, and Ameri, who desires to fix Iruma's "questionable personality," has decided to recruit Iruma into the student council.

On his first day of being in a new division, Iruma experiences the hectic but determined work that comes with being a member of the student council. As the newcomer, Iruma's put through intense training to act as a proper noble student that will lead the school by example. Iruma is quite fatigued after the first day, but Ameri makes it quite clear that Iruma needs to be someone who never displays weakness, such as her quickly dealing with a demon student who's currently going through his demon-cycle phase. Overall, Iruma is left impressed by how Ameri presents herself as the school president.

After school, Ameri gets to show off her kind and friendly traits again listening to Iruma reading to her the next volume of "First Love Memories." Iruma notices how different Ameri acts when they're alone compared to when she's working for the student council, which Ameri realizes that she's been coming off as a scary person when she's working as the school president. Ameri then accidentally breaks the cup of tea she's holding, and takes it as a sign of bad luck. Sure enough, a mysterious demon student is seen in an unknown cave making a potion that it claims will bring an end to Ameri.

Over time, Iruma gets the hang of his work for the student council to the point of impressing his fellow councilmen. Ameri watches on hearing her council subordinates praise Iruma's efforts, which she happily comes to the decision that it will benefit Iruma greatly to eventually recruit him as an official member of the student council. An announcment by the Broadcasting division is then heard for the president to make her way to one of the Preparation Rooms, which Ameri heads off to on her own. She arrives at the room and is met by the mysterious demon student, but before she could figure out what's going on, said demon catches her off-guard, and knocks her out by making her sniff the potion it made.

Back at the council room, the Broadcasting president, Baraki, arrives to warn Iruma and company that the announcement wasn't theirs. The student council members make their way to the Preparation Room to find an unconscious Ameri looking completely normal and unharmed. Once Ameri wakes up however, they witness Ameri showing off a nervous and girly persona nothing like how she normally acts. Thus, making it quite clear that the unknown potion she was hit with completely changed her personality.

Iruma and company bring Ameri to the Medical Office where the teacher, Momonoki, confirms that Ameri's health is still normal. However, Momonoki assures them that the best option to not cause any unnecessary harm to Ameri is to let the potion wear off over time. As a result, the student council attempts to perform their daily routine while Ameri's in "Maiden Mode," which leaves them completely fatigued since the work that Ameri did compared to the rest of the council was a lot. The council then remembers what Kalego warned them that if they don't resolve this issue soon, it will result in the student council being suspended.

Later on, the student council and Discipline divisions begin their election campaigns on campus in front of many of the school's students. Thanks to Ronove's charisma blood-line ability, he's able to easily grab the attention of many students, and announces his plan, which is basically to make school more enjoyable by shortening classes in order to have more time for fun activities and parties. Meanwhile, Ameri struggles to tell her speech as being in Maiden Mode has made her too nervous; leaving her with just a few sympathizer fans. The council all agrees to continue to try helping Ameri, which Iruma decides to call upon Azz and Clara for help. Once Iruma's confirmed Azz and Clara's support, he's suddenly met by Ameri wanting to have a talk with him.

The election begins with Baraki serving as the announcer. The rule being that Ronove and Ameri will give their last 3 minute speeches before the demon students vote on the winner. Ronove is the first to give his speech, which he basically wants to make a school of pleasure. That they should make a paradise of fun rather than endure the hardships of work and boredom. Along with his charisma blood-line ability, he easily hypes up the students in the audience to follow his objective.

It's then Ameri's turn to speak, but she gets off to a rough start due to still being in her nervous Maiden Mode. However, she remembers back to the moment where Iruma told her to keep her head up. Ameri does so looking at her audience, and finally starts to remember what she's been working towards up to this point. She then speaks up in Maiden Mode revealing that despite her current weaknesses, there's always been one (Iruma) who believes in her desire, and that upon seeing everyone now, she now has no desire to give up being president as she wants to make Babyls the best school. She reminds the students that all demons have desire, and that they shouldn't let go of the dreams they desire just to be spoiled by easy pleasure.

At this point, Ameri is finally able to break out of Maiden Mode, and yells for the students to follow her ambition of making the best school that will nurture evil demons to fulfill their innermost desires. The crowd all cheers having been won over by Ameri's speech while Ronove falls over in defeat unable to handle Ameri's words. She then looks at Iruma cheering her on in the audience and finally begins to realize what the boy is to her. Ameri's thankful that Iruma's influence allowed her to finally reveal her ambition that she's never told in front of a large crowd. She also comes to the realization that she may have fallen in love with him.

Some time after the election, Iruma is seen talking with Ameri over the phone where it turns out that things for the student council have gone back to normal, but that Iruma turned down joining it. The story then flashes back to moments after the election where Ronove lies in defeat within the council room. Ameri's subordinates remain suspicious that Ronove was behind Ameri's transformation, but Ronove still denies performing such an act. Clara and Azz then arrive having caught Elicos Schenell; a 2nd-year student that was behind Ameri's persona change. They were able to catch him given the information they had on the tools he borrowed from the Magic Development and Game divisions.

Elicos is questioned as to why he attacked the president, and it turns out he leads a fan-club that worships Ameri. He yells proudly that it was his ambition as the captain of the president's defense troops to see a gentle Ameri. In return, Ameri angrily accepts his ambition by punishing him to do the student council training 50 times. Ameri then invites Ronove into the student council having found the recent experience interesting, and even allows for Ronove to continue showing off as long as he takes his work seriously, which Ronove happily accepts. Finally, Ameri gives Iruma the choice to either stay a part of the student council, or to remake his Magic Tools Research division since he's been approved by Ameri and company to do so. In the end, Iruma chooses to return to his Magic Tools Research division since he desires to find his own ambition rather than follow along with the student council's, and because he's waiting for someone to return (referring to Kirio).

Back to the present, Ali pops out after Iruma finishes his phone call with Ameri. Ali goes about teasing Iruma that the boy got himself a good girlfriend, but Iruma tries deny it. Iruma then asks what Ali thinks of the spell that affected Ameri, which the ring spirit answers that it was Ameri "wanting to be cute." Sure enough, Ameri is seen blushing and acting nervous after her phone call with Iruma as it turns out that she's still struggling to understand the feeling of love that she now has for Iruma. She then thinks about maybe changing her appearance to look cuter, but decides not to upon remembering the moment Iruma told her face-to-face that she's a wonderful woman no matter the appearance. Having decided Iruma to be a new ambition of hers, Ameri hopes that Iruma is prepared for her determination.
