* HonorBeforeReason: Angela desperately wants Goliath to treat her like his daughter and respect her, but Goliath refuses to give her any "preferential" treatment because gargoyle tradition holds that every child is viewed as the offspring of the whole clan, not just one parent...even though she's literally the ''only'' gargoyle hatchling alive that he knows in the outside world (the others are on Avalon). Diane [[WhatTheHellHero calls him out on this]] and encourages him to use common sense as opposed to honor, which he eventually agrees to do.
