* BreakThemByTalking: The Bard has access to a technique called Vicious Mockery, where he hurls an insult towards the enemy to hurt them and weaken their incoming attack.

* CoolBoard: The Wizard has one for all the kickflips and tricks she tries all over the Walmart. She's depicted as [[spoiler:slaying the Lego Dragon]] while riding it!

* DirtyCoward: Porky the Pig Dwarf. He refuses to involve himself in the action, flees at the first sight of physical conflict, and never does more than comment in the background while the trio does most of the work. This is Subverted at the very start, but only thanks to the Bard using a [[ItOnlyWorksOnce Suggestion]] on him, which caused Porky to attack the Oreo and get the first Natural 20 of the game. Even worse, [[spoiler:he tries to take advantage of Walter's defeat to quickly get his hands on the staff to seize power for his company, Walgreens]].

*** The Wizard slips an Oreo up with milk, but gets caught in it herself. The Barbarian misses his attack with a bad roll and slips on the milk as well.

* InformedFlaw: The cast is "cursed" with a condition that limits their thoughts and controls according to a new singular braincell (read: Twitch chatter) every few turns, so their motivation for getting Walter's staff is to cure themselves of it. Throughout the campaign, however, the chat is able to keep the characters consistent in both personality and performance, and they even manage to [[spoiler:survive until the very end of the story]]. They ultimately decide [[spoiler:that what they have isn't really a curse and break the staff]].

* TheLoad: Porky is the questgiver for this campaign, and he tags along with the trio as they explore the Walmart. Aside from giving advice and one moment where he's forced by the Bard to join the fight, he spends much of the time yelling orders, cowering in the corner, or getting in the way. Even when the Barbarian later decides to [[FastballSpecial use him as a weapon]], he's not a very good one.

** Upon learning that the ruler of Walmart is named Walter, Chat started spouting [[Series/BreakingBad "waltuh... put your dick away, waltuh"]] memes. Face to face, the Bard dares Walter to "put your staff away, Waltuh!".
** The Powerpoint slide of the Bard remarks that he looks like [=RTGame=].

* SlapSlapKiss: The Bard and The Wizard had an established relationship prior to this adventure that ended with their divorce. Throughout the campaign, the chatters throw the idea of them getting back together around, until it eventually creates a mini-RomanceArc where [[spoiler:they eventually [[WillTheyOrWontThey rekindle their relationship]] halfway through]]. They still end up bickering after this, though.

* ThrowTheDogABone: Porky spends the whole campaign being harassed and abused. [[spoiler:Even his villainous reveal doesn't get him any more respect from Doug or the players]]. At ''one'' point he gets to be awesome, though: on the first floor, the Bard motivates him to jump into the fight instead of cowering in the corner. He proceeds to roll the first Nat 20 of the campaign and one-shots an enemy with gusto, getting an acknowledgement of respect from the Bard for it.

As thanks for rescuing him, he rewards the players with a giant ''[[VideoGame/PokemonLetsGoPikachuAndEevee Let's Go Eevee]]'' Switch]].

** When the Bard uses Vicious Mockery to tell the Dino Nugget it went extinct 100 million years ago, it gets driven to tears by the realization that all its friends and family are all long dead.

* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: When the Mop gets a Natural 20 attacking the Bard, Doug narrates it as the Mop, who thought the Bard was trying to hurt his best friend the Fridge with his bumbling attempts to fix him, gets enraged and whacks the Bard so hard it knocks him on his ass. In response, the Bard uses his Vicious Mockery ability on the Mop to convince him that his interference cost the Fridge his life, which depresses the Mop so much it kills him.

In this [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Eck0yY1W-8 video]], WebVideo/DougDoug has Chat take the reins of a deranged TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons game, where they roleplay as the ditzy Barbarian, the sassy Bard, and the divorced Wizard. Together, the three will venture inside a magical UsefulNotes/{{Walmart}} to fight a warlock known as Walter, alongside the mayor of Wall-Town, a cowardly pig-dwarf named Porky. Will Twitch Chat be able to take Walter and his magical staff down, or will the demons of Walmart prove too much for them?

* GentleGiant: The Barbarian acts like a very supportive frat bro, being god friends with the Bard and the Wizard, and even showing some affection to Porky during the [[spoiler:first]] battle at the Toys Department.

* DumbMuscle: The Barbarian is the party's tank; an orc warrior with lots of strength but also stupid to the point where he can't tell left from right. Most of his rolls end up being very low, forcing him to start relying on Reckless Attack to make actions land.

** The gimmick of the Clothing Department floor is the rotating section of platforms at its center, which require rolls to determine whether a character will fall frm them or not.

* GoldenEnding: At least for [[SequelHook this]] specific campaign. [[spoiler:The evil warlock Walter gets defeated, Walmart (while also being made sentient) burns down ''and'' crushes [[EvilAllAlong Porky]] in the process, and the party decides to destroy the warlock's staff after everything is all said and done. Also, they made it out with the limited edition ''[[VideoGame/PokemonLetsGoPikachuAndLetsGoEevee Let's Go Pikachu]]'' Switch, the wizard and bard appear to have fixed their relationship ([[ToiletSeatDivorce for once in a [=DougDoug=] video]]), and (via a Nat 20) the Walmart employee Bert is confirmed to have survived, and is Wal Town's new ([[RightfulKingReturns technically returning]]) mayor. And the party gets rewarded with a giant ''[[VideoGame/PokemonLetsGoPikachuAndLetsGoEevee Let's Go Eevee]]'' Switch on top of it all.]]

* HollywoodAcid: The Washing Machine gets its hands on hydrochloric acid from the aisles ([[HandWave somehow]]) and sets up a semicircle border of it between itself and the heroes. After the Barbarian throws Porky at it, the Washing Machine falls over into its own acid and instantly dies.
