* ExactTimeToFailure

to:

* ExactTimeToFailureExactTimeToFailure: The Doctor is somehow able to work out the exact moment the planet will collapse.

* LadyLand: On the planet Drahvin, women dominate the planet. A few men are kept, presumably for breeding, while the rest are killed. Oddly, Maaga doesn't immediately understand when Steven asks her if all the inhabitants of her planet are women, perhaps demonstrating how utterly insignificant and out of mind the men of Drahvin are.

This story is thought to be one of the last to be junked before the episode junkings were stopped in 1978, though there's some dispute about that. All four episodes (besides about eight minutes of Episode 1) were lost until 2011, [[http://www.scifinow.co.uk/news/doctor-who-galaxy-4-and-the-underwater-menace-missing-episodes-found/ when Episode 3 (Air Lock) was returned to the BBC.]] Reconstructions [[note]](fan-made attempts to "recreate" missing episodes using surviving footage, [[http://www.recons.com/glossary/telesnaps.htm telesnaps]], and other sources)[[/note]] can be watched [[http://www.dailymotion.com/playlist/x1kyo2_matrixarchive_galaxy-four here.]] A slightly condensed official reconstruction consisting of all surviving footage with stills, new animations and the original soundtrack was released as an extra on the 2013 [=DVD=] release of "[[{{Recap/DoctorWhoS1E6TheAztecs}} The Aztecs]]".

Creator/PeterCapaldi brought the story quite a lot of attention when he claimed the Chumblies were his favourite villain from the show upon being cast as the Doctor, and responded to everyone's confusion with "And you call yourselves ''Doctor Who'' fans?"[[note]]In fairness to those fans, maybe their confusion was because the Chumblies aren't villains.[[/note]]

* BeautyEqualsGoodness: Defied.

to:

* BeautyEqualsGoodness: Defied.Played with. The first indication that the Chumblies aren't as hostile as they appear is that they are [[CuteMachines super cute]], with Vicki remarking on it. Meanwhile, the Rills look downright grotesque but turn out to be quite amiable, while the Drahvins are conventionally beautiful women who turn out to be the jingoistic and genocidal antagonists of the story.
