*** We also see this with Ziva in season 10, due to contract issues, Tony DiNozzo in season 13 (forget exactly why the actor chose to leave for him), Abby at the end of season 15, and Agent Bishop in season 18. With the latter 2, it may be a bit of RealLifeWritesThePlot. There was some background drama between Pauley Parrett and Mark Harmon regarding the latter's dog and with Agent Bishop, her actress later shared a photo on Instagram where she was visibly pregnant and with her character not having a stated love interest at the time...well...it was likely either leave, hide the pregnancy, or come up with a character who was the father of said baby.

*** In the second episode of the 2-part episode ''Ranger of Two Worlds'', Billy is sent to Aquitar due to his rapid aging. This doubles as both HarsherInHindsight and RealLifeWritesThePlot because his actor David Yost had walked off during the filming of the ''King for a Day'' 2-parter due to what David Yost has said was due to hostility on set due to him being a gay man in the mid-90s. At the same time, the bus has come back twice for the character that hasn't been archive footage (like in ''Series/PowerRangersDinoThunder''). The first was in the final episode of ''Series/PowerRangersMegaforce's'' Legendary Battle episode, though Billy shows up only in morph. The second time is actually coming up: David Yost is currently filming ''something'' for the 30th anniversary of the franchise as Billy.

* One of the most notorious and self-influential incidents in ''Series/BeverlyHills90210's'' narrative history was putting Brenda Walsh, the show's powerhouse, on a plane to London after actress Shannen Doherty was fired for repeated unprofessional behaviour.
