* The fact that this story is about one of the nicest characters in the ''Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog'' franchise [[spoiler:Miles "Tails" Prower]] becoming a villain, is actually pretty shocking since [[spoiler:Miles]] became an even more disturbing and psychotic villain than Dr. Eggman himself. Unlike most stories which just slap the RonTheDeathEater treatment on the character out of nowhere, what makes this so terrifying is that the scenario is based on the very real issue of long-term bullying which Tails ''canonically'' suffered from, making it very believable that if [[spoiler:Tails never met Sonic, this outcome wouldn't some ridiculous fantasy]].

** The Interquel reveals that while Sonic managed to save all villagers in the fire, he yet thinks that Miles Prowler (Tails) and Bates Tenebris (The Bully that got killed by Miles, earlier along with his brother.) presumes them both dead, and pins the blame behind the fire on Bates's brother Leo Tenebris, (The Bully who also got killed by Miles with his brother Bates.) Years later, he would recruit the very culprit in the fight against Dr. Eggman by sheer coincidence.

** The Interquel reveals that while Sonic managed to save all villagers in the fire, he yet thinks that Miles Prowler (Tails, The Culprit.) and Leo Tenebris (The Bully that got killed earlier along with his brother.) presumes them both dead. Years later, he would recruit the very culprit in the fight against Dr. Eggman by sheer coincidence.

* [[spoiler: Miles']] facial expressions throughout the story is completely [[NightmareFace nightmarish]]. First off, he has CreepyShadowedUndereyes in all of his appearances, which makes him look demented. And secondly, he constantly has a SlasherSmile plastered on his face, especially when he meets up with Sonic for their big fight.

Other than being a massive TearJerker, this comic manages to be one of the most nightmarish versions of any ''Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog'' fan works ever created.

* The scene where [[spoiler: Miles' pet bird dies]] is both this and a TearJerker. When Miles was building a new invention, a pair of bullies came by and try to destroy his invention. Unfortunately, [[spoiler: Miles' pet bird]] swoops in to save the invention, only to be crushed to death by one of the bullies' weapons. We then see in full detail the bird's blood spraying all over the place, including on [[spoiler: Miles]] himself.
** What happens next in that scene is even more nightmarish as [[spoiler: Miles]] finally snaps and he beats the bullies to death with their own weapon as blood splatters all over the page.
