* Even though ''The Mandela Magazine'' is significantly less frightening than its source materials, there are a few moments of genuine creepiness.
** The segment where the picture of Ceasar's face distorts before his his face disappears leaving only eyes. Nothing new, since the same scare is in the original. But then a stretched version of his [[SlasherSmile grinning face]] appears around the eyes, to the sound of a far more frightening 'eeee'.
** When Cesar's alternate is outside Mark's door, he tries to get Mark to come out by offering a 'surprise' in a slightly glitched voice. Then he starts ''banging'' on the door screaming for Mark to come out.
