* We finally get to see Zeus, King Of Olympus, and oh boy... his presence is as terrifying as the thunder he wields. Zeus coldly tells his nephew Percy that he's only still alive so that he could tell him about Kronos' return. And when Percy digs into his uncle's skin deeper by saying his fellow gods only follow him out of fear and not love nor respect, his death glare widens and he ''almost kills Percy'' with the Master Bolt, had it not been for [[PapaWolf Poseidon's interference]].

* The appearance of the Fates. Three little old ladies dressed in colourful jumpsuits and crocs sitting on a bench knitting might not seem terrifiyng, but Annabeth is clearly freaked out of her mind on seeing them. Why? Because these three ladies control the birth, life and destiny of every living being, mortal, demigod or god. Then one of them cuts the thread of wool another is holding out for her and Annabeth looks as though someone just walked over her grave... because the cutting of a string means that someone is going to die soon.
