What's even more, their stronger versions [[UndergroundMonkey Goldon & Silvox]] do the same thing if you die to them, and Soul Melter [[spoiler:and Soul Melter EX]] has ''them'' among all the other dangerous bosses, and their battle theme is even "Decisive Battle with a Mighty Boss" from ''VideoGame/TeamKirbyClashDeluxe'', which is normally supposed to play during climatic battles such as [[VideoGame/KirbySuperStar Dyna Blade or Wham Bam Rock]].

** In ''VideoGame/GuiltyGearStrive'', Bridget undergoing TransTribulations in her story arc with Goldlewis and Ky is appropriately dramatic. The moment where she decides that [[QueerEstablishingMoment she's done running from who she is]], with Goldlewis and Ky encouraging Bridget to stop worrying about what anyone else thinks of her and promising to support her, is also suitably triumphant. But all of this happens while Bridget is still doing her usual {{idle animation}}s, which involve her moving and grooving to the music with exaggerated and passionate dancing. It turns what should be a beautiful moment of acceptance and character development into one that's unintentionally silly.

If it's "forced by the player", then it's not Narm, because it has nothing to do with the work's intentions or execution.

* Can be forced by the player in ''VideoGame/HalfLife2''. Since the game has no "Cutscenes", they simply happen in real-time in front of the player. This can result in characters talking to Gordon Freeman when he is staring at the floor, the wall, [[DistractedByTheSexy Mossman or Alyx's chests]], jumping around like an idiot, pointing a gun in their faces, or swinging a crowbar at them.
** Way back in the day, a bug could happen when the characters' voice lines were having difficulty playing, resulting in them stuttering. It made an odd bit of sense with the Gman, but when you're speaking with a character who does ''not'' stutter or is talking to you long-distance, it became ''quite'' hilarious.

If the characters themselves are laughing, then the scene was meant to be funny. That's not Narm, that's just Disgaea being silly. We're not supposed to take Captain Gordon, defender of earth 100% seriously either

* ''VideoGame/DisgaeaHourOfDarkness'' has the heroes confronted by overwhelming odds, when their hotblooded antagonist-turned-friend Kurtis returns from the dead to give a passionate speech about how his friends would never give in. The heroes break into laughter, because Kurtis has been reborn as a Prinny - meaning that the speech is delivered by a goofy-looking stuffed penguin.

** ''Videogame/DevilSurvivor'': In the 3DS version, dialogue from the human characters is fully voice acted, but dialogue from Demons ''never'' is. This results in MoodWhiplash when the protagonists are confronted by all-powerful supernatural beings that are, according to their [[ExactTimeToFailure "death clocks"]], destined to kill them, and said beings' [[BadassBoast Badass Boasts]] are rendered as "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH!"

* In ''VideoGame/Cyberpunk2077'', one of the sidequests involves an associate being confronted by the mother of someone he killed, and tearfully tells the both of you to [[GetOut leave her domicile]] [[HeelFaceDoorSlam despite your associate's willingness to atone for his crime]]. The whole scene has quite the somber air about it...except for the part where the studio thought it appropriate to play stock audio of a woman sobbing in the background. Not only do the voices not match up ''at all'', but the audio plays ''while the woman is speaking'', giving the impression that there's apparently a very devestated ghost lurking around who just couldn't stand the intensely emotional scene.

* The [[SerialNumbersFiledOff totally-not-based-on-]]''Film/LethalWeapon''[[SerialNumbersFiledOff -honest]] action game ''Crime City'' has a few unintentional chuckles just from the {{Engrish}} alone, but the highlight comes at the start of "ROUND 4 -- [[RougeAnglesOfSatin KIDNAPING]]", when the elderly mayor discovers that his chauffer and aides are, in fact, armed "kidnapers", and he groans out a very disappointed "''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGpNWSWscAk&t=8m17s OH!
