* Vincent Valentine from ''VideoGame/{{Final Fantasy VII}}'', the recluse who pops in and out mysteriously, and chooses quiet solitude and contemplation over action and interaction has been typed an INTP and fits the description well. He's quiet, independent, reserved, serious, and perceived as "cold" due to his aloof nature. He only ever participates when circumstances give him no choice, when it's the only sensible and right thing to do. He also contemplates topics like what it means to be human, and displays a propensity for philosophy.

* Veronica from ''VideoGame/{{ZombiesRun}}'' is a young scientist who exemplifies the INTP archetype. She is completely focused on logic and science, to the point of forgetting to eat at times. She exhibits strong introverted thinking, the dominant function of an INTP, through her love of conducting experiments and dissecting zombies and ideas alike. She is full of ideas and possibilities, as most xNxPs are, but her inferior extroverted feeling function and her lack of concern for conventional ethics make her seem detached at best and sociopathic at worst. She has difficulty expressing her affection for her only friend, Nadia.

As an individual, Shuu is smart, analytical, introverted, orderly, stoic, composed, calm, highly perceptive, and very well organized in aiming the bow with precision. And unlike the other characters on the storyline, he is not focused on feelings or emotionality.

* Sosuke Aizen from ''Anime/{{Bleach}}'' orchestrated a plan to bring the Soul Society to its knees that took over a century to come to fruition. His [[{{CrazyPrepared}} careful planning]], top notch acting and manipulation of all the main characters almost ensured that he achieved his goal of [[{{AGodAmI}} godhood status]]. His counterpart on the good guy team, Kisuke Urahara, also fits into this personality type, though his manipulation is more benevolent than Aizen's.

He fights mainly using his battle instincts and information that is either immediate or built from experience (Se). However, because of his arrogant and ambitious attitude, he has a difficult time getting along with people he doesn't respect and being open about his feelings. Later in the series, he is trying to humble himself and be more open to other perspectives besides his own and actively seeking out to improve the traits that he is lacking.

* Handsome Jack from ''VideoGame/{{Borderlands 2}}'' is the epitome of this personality type. Ruthless, arrogant, aggressive, narcissistic, manipulative, and highly strategic, his plans are to bring order to his world by awakening an all-powerful demon and taking over and destroying his home planet Pandora. Originally he wanted to bring peace and order by unity, but after having been betrayed numerous times, he lost his sanity and decided to do it through means of genocide.

* Bruce Banner is the legendary Hulk in ''Film/{{The Avengers|2012}}'' movies and a true INFJ. Bruce tends to be moody, self-involved, and very hard on himself. He is naturally brilliant and instead of using that to his own benefits, he works for the good of others in whatever way he can. He always puts others before himself.

* Remus Lupin from ''Literature/HarryPotter'' is kind, quiet, and loyal. He does his best to inspire his students and help them overcome fear. He serves as mentor for Harry, encouraging him to trust his instincts, realizing where his strengths lie and how to rely on them. He is very compassionate, and tends to put other people first, and rarely puts effort taking care of himself.
* Aragorn from ''Literature/TheLordOfTheRings'' is private and complex, but with a strong noble streak. High ideals for himself and others, but still down to earth and logical. Courageous, yet still often afraid. He tries his best to do the right thing. Is willing to take on the responsibilities of being a leader, but isn't sure if he is the best one for the task.

* Krystal from ''VideoGame/StarFox'' started out as an interstellar drifter who prioritizes answering distress calls with her psychic powers over her search for answers over her destroyed home world. After a twist of fate she joins Fox's team for saving her life and sharing her good intentions. She is a kind and brave young woman who looks after the rest of the mercenary team, particularly with her crush Fox. However, her stubbornness and tendency to bear grudges can land her in hot water.
* Komaeda Nagito from ''VisualNovel/Danganronpa2GoodbyeDespair''. He is an extreme idealist and attempts to force his ideal of Hope on the rest of the students. Though technically a "Mastermind" like an INTJ, Komaeda lacks the cold objectivity that usually accompanies a Thinking type, but his attempts to sacrifice others and martyr himself in the name of his ideal are classically unhealthy INFJ. He is particularly drawn to Hinata and makes repeated attempts to get under his skin. This seems malicious and is hard to discern underneath his overbearing and rude behavior, but is really likely just Komaeda's attempt to make friends and be close to Hinata as he is a lonesome and damaged individual.

* Padme Amidala from the ''Franchise/StarWars'' Prequel Trilogy. As the galaxy was starting to become more turbulent, she still tried to find peaceful solutions. As the Old Republic became more totalitarian, she stood up to it, helping establish what would soon become the Rebel Alliance. She also tried to serve as Anakin Skywalker's moral compass as he was struggling with the Dark Side of the Force. Their son Luke inherited her sense of morality (see INFP), which is how he finally succeeded in redeeming Anakin.
