Brian Wilson and Disney aren't as separate as people may think. On top of being two landmarks of Californian culture, the latter greatly influenced the former. After a young Brian listened to the song "When You Wish Upon A Star" (from the ''{{WesternAnimation/Pinocchio}}'' soundtrack) in 1961, it gave him the inspiration to write what would become "Music/SurferGirl". Additionally, some composers for Disney films turned out to influence or collaborate with Brian (Music/RandyNewman was a major influence on Music/TheBeachBoys' ''[[{{Music/Holland}} Mount Vernon And Fairway]]'' and Music/EltonJohn co-sang with Brian on his album ''Music/GettinInOverMyHead'')

''In The Key Of Disney'' is a cover album by American artist Music/BrianWilson. Like its title suggests, all songs come from the soundtrack of disney movies.

It is the second of two albums recorded by Brian for Walt Disney Records. He was intially asked about making this album before deciding to work on his Gershwin tribute album ''Music/BrianWilsonReimaginesGershwin'' first.
