Sataka admits he has asked this question himself when he noticed that the Chinese language had a Q in it, wondering what it is doing there. In the sub-arc's last chapter, it's revealed that he finished the manga with the answer "What is 'Q'?" answered... although the reader is never shown the explicit answer.
