Some time ago, a doctor has made [[ArtificialHuman 100 attempts called Fabricants]] in order to create a perfect human being. After the doctor's mysterious demise, the Fabricants have decided to continue his alleged will and seek body parts of high quality for themselves.

Ashibi Yao is a 14-year-old survivor of his family being murdered by the Fabricants, for their blood that can grant eternal youth. After he promises to give his body to the last Fabricant remaining, No 100, the last and the strongest of them, destroys the intruders present.

Now, the two travel around the country looking into people's disappearances to hunt down the Fabricants, with No 100 caring about the kid's well-being a lot more than one'd expect from a flesh-stealing monster.

With her contractor away, she [[spoiler:shows knowledge of stopping all Fabricants at once by taking down No 1, but withheld that information from Ashibi because she doesn't care about human victims, and she needs No 1's help to take Ashibi's body]]. Despite this, he still trusts her, as at least she'll act predictably.
* CompellingVoice: Roxy's singing voice, [[spoiler:or rather, her Fabricant partner's]], makes some visitors of her plays commit suicide behind the theater, where their organs can be harvested. It has a low enough hit rate to get only about one victim at a time, but is strong enough that anyone who watches her play in full is a potential target.
* DoesNotKnowHisOwnStrength: No 100 is so physically strong, a pen disintegrates when she takes it.
* DrivesLikeCrazy: Luka drives and turns at such high speeds, to Ashibi it looks as if they teleport around the town.
* ExoticEyeDesigns: No 33 has rice-shaped lines coming from his pupils.
* EyeScream: No 12 stole eyes of a man's fiancé for himself. 100 cleanly retrieves them from his eyesockets with her hand.
* FemmeFatalons: No 100 has sharp nails she can use as claws.
* GottaKillThemAll: Ashibi's stated goal is to make No 100 kill the other 99 Fabricants, with at least 7 already killed in the flashback. By the end of the first chapter, 82 remain as far as he's aware.
* HealingFactor: Carriers of Yao blood heal any injuries quickly, which include Ashibi and any Fabricant that has escaped with a flesh of his family.
* HonorBeforeReason: Ashibi calls Hugo a "cheater" because he's not giving the info on the No 33, banking on his young age and lawful personality, resulting in Hugo spilling most of what he knows.
* HumanAllAlong: Ashibi was prepared to take down [[spoiler:Roxy]] assuming she's a Fabricant. She's only an accomplice, and Mortsafe knew about it, but wanted him to experience facing human enemies and how Fabricants treat them. Her [[spoiler:not having stitches]] is an early hint.
* HumansAreTheRealMonsters: Despite not being a Fabricant, [[spoiler:Roxy is fine with being an assistant to a Fabricant serial killer and even sympathizes with him, as long she herself can be on stage]]. When asked by Ashibi why couldn't she be doing anything else, she replies she finds nothing wrong in pursuing her dream. Still, Ashibi makes it clear she's not a target and [[spoiler:she [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone realizes their wrongdoings]] before dying]].
* HunterOfHisOwnKind: No 100 sees no issue killing other Fabricants as long as that's what Ashibi wants, which also means less competition for her.
* LackOfEmpathy: Despite having a sister-like bond, being each other's SecretKeeper for three years, and understanding each other's motives, [[spoiler:Roxy's Fabricant partner stabs her in the back the moment their secret is up and Asihbi looks more interested to her]], further proving that Fabricants can't live with humans.
* LetsYouAndHimFight: During the tragedy, Ashibi brings up to Fabricants that he's too young to be harvested and there's only one of him. While it was quicker than he's expected, one Fabricant killed all others present and became his bodyguard.
* LogicalWeakness: As [[spoiler:Roxy's Fabricant's]] power work if a human listens to her singing for a long time, No 100 makes a deafening scream and interrupts the effect.
* LongLived: The Yao family are known for having unnatural lifespan, living to the age of at least 110 while still looking 30. This is the primary reason Fabricants target them.
* TheLostLenore: Ashibi remembers his sister every time he thinks of why he protects humans.
* MagicIsAMonsterMagnet: Ashibi's superior Yao blood attracts nearby Fabricants if he scratches his arm with a sharp ring or bites himself. At this point, they can't leave even if they want to until Ashibi is dead. For No 100 it instead works like an SOS signal.
* MixAndMatchMan: Fabricants can be identified by the stitches on their bodies that come from their Frankenstien-like creation. It's not helped by them continuing to upgrade their body parts.
* MoodWhiplash: A lot of comedy comes from No 100, the strongest monster, out of concern about her target's health, frquently acting like an [[HelicopterParents overprotective mom]].
* NoNameGiven: The Lungs and Throat Fabricants are defeated without their designation number revealed.
* TheNeedsOfTheMany: The leader of Mortsafe disregards [[spoiler:Roxy's death during No 100's test, even if she wasn't responsible for it]], on the basis that as a criminal, her life is less valuable than other humans. He further remarks he isn't above sacrificing Ashibi if this can make No 100 more cooperative.
* NeverHurtAnInnocent: While No 100 has promised to Ashibi to never take anyone's organs, Mortsafe agrees to ignore her only for as long as no human is hurt during their Fabricant hunts.
* OnePersonOnePower: All Fabricants have one organ they can bring special abilities from.
* TheOrder: Mortsafe is a human organization that is described as an Anti-Fabricant group. It's not said how many Fabricants they've already defeated, if any, but if Luca is of any indication, their fighters are capable of it.
* OrganTheft: A MO for Fabricants is to kidnap humans and steal their high-grade body parts, normally killing the unfortunate. Some keep kids with them until they group up.
* OpposeWhatYouSuffered: Ashibi wants to destroy all Fabricants more so that nobody would suffer the loss of their family like he did, than out of revenge.
* ParryingBullets: Hugo, one of the weakest in Mortsafe, can slap bullets away with his bare hand.
* PowerLevels:
** Fabricant's strength is considered to strictly correspond to their creation order, from weakest to strongest, as the oldest Fabricants have inferior bodies and are fine targeting weaker humans.
** Mortsafe has "star ranks" from 1 to 5 corresponding to every 20 Fabricant numbers they can match with. Hugo is 1 star and Luka is 5, meaning Luka is considered to be stronger than Fabricant 80.
* RedemptionEqualsDeath: As [[spoiler:Roxy and her Fabricant are bleeding out, the former]] realizes she has robbed many people of her dreams for the sake of her own, and sings as herself for the first time before passing.
* SecondaryCharacterTitle: Fabricant No 100 is the {{Deuteragonist}} of the story and [[KidHero Ashibi Yao]]'s bodyguard, despite also being his enemy.
* TheShowMustGoOn: Asahi and No 100 fail to assassinate Roxy before the start of the play, so it moves to Asahi having to fight her on-stage with the audience none the wiser.
* ShrinkingViolet: No 100 is easily embarrassed by Ashibi and sweats bullets every time he comments on her immature behavior, though he thinks it's [[ObfuscatingStupidity just a tactic]] to reduce his stress.
* SoleSurvivor: Ashibi Yao is the only survivor of the Yao family massacre.
* StarterVillain: No 12 is the enemy Fabricant of the first chapter and is killed effortlessly without getting to use his enchanced legs for combat.
* SuperBreath: The Lung Fabricant can use his superior breathing to stay underwater and create massive air bubbles.
* SuperSenses: No 33's special ability is to see the true structure of objects, which allows his to scout body parts efficiently, snipe across the forest and some close-range combat skills.
* UninhibitedMusclePower: Fabricants are naturally stronger than humans, and they can push the strengths of the stolen organs to supernatural limits.
* UnskilledButStrong: While No 100 is physically the strongest, she doesn't have any unique abilities, which puts her at disavantage against weaker Fabricants who utilize tactics and superpowers.
* YouAreNumberSix: All Fabricants are numbered and named in the order they are created, from 1 to 100, with a corresponding tattoo somewhere on their body. The tattoo manifests even if the body part with it is replaced.
* {{Ventriloquism}}: [[spoiler:The singer Roxy has no singing voice, the Fabricant she's partnered with sings behind the stage]].
* VillainWithGoodPublicity: Roxy is an acclaimed theater singer, but unbeknownst to the public she's a Fabricant[[spoiler:'s accomplice]] who charms people to suicide.
* WakeUpCallBoss: No 33 is one of the few who've managed to escape the mansion with a body part of a Yao family member. Despite his relatively low number, he's the first one to be as strong as No 100 and to show regenertive abilities, which other Yao Fabricants are said to share.
* WorldsStrongestMan: As the last one made, No 100 is considered the most powerful Fabricant in terms of raw power, as she has destroyed several Fabricants at Yao mansion instantly.
