* ''WesternAnimation/BobsBurgers'' has a slightly family-friendly version in "Legs for Days," where Bob and Linda get into the jellybean schnapps while hiding eggs for the Easter Egg hunt... and wake up hungover. This leads to problems, as the last of the eggs goes undiscovered and starts rotting, and neither Bob nor Linda can remember where they hid it.
* This was the trigger of ''WesternAnimation/DextersLaboratory'' episode "Valhallen's Room", where the god of rock lost his musical axe, [[ArtifactOfPower the source of his power]]. [[spoiler:Somehow, it ended up [[ExtremeOmniGoat inside his goat]]]].

* ''WesternAnimation/FabulousFunnies:'' The very first line spoken by "formaldehyde breath" Broom Hilda in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dP6gb8b8WLE this segment.]] With plenty of empty cans lying around her treehouse, and in her bed, there was a lot of chugging going on.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheFairlyOddParents'': Timmy once attended a party -- [[LaserGuidedAmnesia and then is made to forget about it]] -- in "Five Days of F.L.A.R.G." He apparently got a tattoo on his stomach of some girl he can't remember meeting. (Later revealed to be a grown woman who had a similar tattoo with his name).
* Happens a lot in ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'' during assorted cutaway gags.
* Used as a side joke in ''WesternAnimation/{{Futurama}}'', "The Sting". "Why am I sticky and naked? Did I miss something fun?"
** No drunkenness, but "Time Keeps on Slippin'" does this with time skips. The cast acts normally during the skips but afterward can't remember what happened. During once such skip, Fry inexplicably got Leela to marry him. She accuses him of tricking her somehow, and he spends much of the episode desperate to find out what he did right. In the end, it turns out he used a powerful gravity gun to spell out a message of love with actual ''stars'', but alas they are sucked into a black hole before he can show Leela.
* An alcohol-free example occurs in the ''WesternAnimation/GravityFalls'' episode "Carpet Diem" when Mabel wakes up after a sleepover with her friends to find someone has written "PARTY GURL" on her face, Candy has been taped to the ceiling, and Grenda was making out with an unknown entity in the closet. Of course, someone could have broken out the [[GRatedDrug Smile Dip]]...
* ''WesternAnimation/KingOfTheHill'': In "Be True To Your Fool", Hank shaves his head due to a sudden onset of lice and discovers [[EmbarrassingTattoo Bill's name got tattooed on the back of his head]]. Boomhauer explains that, on the weekend before Bill left for the army, they traveled to Dallas to party, and while hanging out at a punk bar, a drunken Hank almost got into a fight with some punks before the then-badass and in-shape Bill saved him from them, and [[AlcoholInducedIdiocy Hank decided to tattoo Bill's name as a way of showing his appreciation]]. Boomhauer, the only one who was with Hank when he received the tattoo, even talked the artist into putting the tattoo on the back of his head instead of his chest like Hank wanted.

* In the ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'' episode "Hearts and Hooves Day", Cheerilee has this reaction after the effects of a love potion wear off after she and Big Mac (also affected) have fallen into a hole.

* ''WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls2016'' episode "The Stayover" starts like this with Blossom and Buttercup recovering from a candy-induced sugar rush hangover and trying to find Bubbles.

** Parodied in "Boy Scouts 'N The Hood". Bart and Milhouse ask Apu for a Squishee made with nothing but syrup. It's so much that they go on a psychedelic trip. Bart wakes up and finds that while drugged out, he... joined the Junior Campers! Meanwhile, Milhouse has a dirty word shaved into the back of his head (which offends Principal Skinner to the point that he tells Milhouse he's going to shave him bald) and Barney (who also tried the Squishee) wakes up in a Greek cargo ship wearing a sailor outfit:

** A non-beer related one happened in "El Viaje Misterioso de Nuestro Jomer (The Mysterious Voyage of Homer)" when Homer was trying Wiggums' "Insanity Pepper" chili, managing to counteract the spiciness by pouring wax in his mouth and swallowing the peppers whole. However, the effects of the peppers take hold and he finds himself having a strange vision, with a talking coyote urging him to find his soulmate. When he comes to the next morning, he finds himself on a golf course in the middle of a sand trap.
** In the second part of "Who Shot Mr. Burns?", Smithers, who's been in a drunken stupor after being fired, awakens to find he has no recollection of what happened the previous night. Discovering what happened to Mr. Burns causes him to think he shot his former boss. Turns out he didn't, but he ''did'' shoot Jasper, who was trying to restrain him. Luckily he just hit Jasper's false leg, so it's all good.
** In "Days of Wine and D'ohses", Barney decided to sober up when he realized this had become a recurring problem for him, to the point where he couldn't remember celebrating his last birthday until the Moe regulars showed him a videotape of the party, where he made an absolute ass of himself (among other things, he drank spilled beer out of the carpet and put on Marge's clothes).

** In the episode "The Algae's Always Greener", after Plankton used his life-switching machine to switch places with Mr. Krabs, he wakes up dazed in Mr. Krabs' office and says "Great Neptune above, what happened last night?".
** In the episode "The Donut of Shame", Patrick asks this question, though it's because of a tea party instead of alcohol. Apparently, it's a bad idea for [=SpongeBob=] and Patrick to stay up past 9:30.

* ''WebAnimation/SonicForHire'': After having a party following defeating [[Franchise/StarWars Darth Vader]] in ''Series/FamilyFeud'', Franchise/{{Sonic}} wakes up in his office with Amy next to him, and is concerned on finding a beer bottle shoved up his butt and whether or not they had sex.

* In ''WebOriginal/ShadowrunStorytime'', the team gets an all expense paid night at the top end night club Inferno. Geppetto wakes up the next morning in an absolutely filthy dumpster behind the club with no memory of what happened. Dervish explains that Geppetto tried speed-balling a mixture of two drugs and human blood only to get knocked unconscious, at which point his spirit guide Adversary took control of his body, started some shit, and got beaten down by security.

* The short-lived series ''Series/MissingPersons'' used the fake-dead hooker trick too. A girl is missing and her rich-kid boyfriend is suspected of murdering her. A cop [[PimpDuds poses as a pimp]] and sells him a hooker for the night, only to wake him up the next day screaming in his face that he's killed her with rough sex. Faced with the DisposingOfABody problem and a ScaryBlackMan roughing him up, the kid blurts out a good place to dump her corpse. The cop goes there and sure enough finds the dead girlfriend, which he reports to the police in an 'anonymous' tip.

* ''Webcomic/QuestionableContent'', Faye does it [[http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=186 here.]] Also in [[http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=1081 strip #1081.]] [[spoiler:Faye wakes up after having hooked up with Sven between [[http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=1079 #1079]] and [[http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=1080 #1080.]] For some reason, it's always Faye.]] Ultimately PlayedForDrama when she realizes she's an alcoholic.

Highlights include the first officer getting so bombed on "something green" he reprogrammed the bridge computer to swear, the communications officer hacking the planet's comm net to omit the clothes of anyone using a video phone, and scaring a group of [[ProudWarriorRace Klingons]] into running away like little girls.

* A man traveling on business checks into a hotel. Later that evening, he gets bored, so he goes down to the hotel bar for a drink. He meets and attractive woman at the bar, they flirt, and he invites her up to his room for sex. The next thing he knows, he wakes up in the bathtub, which is filled with ice. There is a phone on a table next to the bathtub and a note that says "call 911". He feels pain in his lower back, so he calls 911. He is taken to the hospital, where doctors discover that one of his kidneys has been removed, presumably to sell on the organ black market.

* From the Norwegian version of ''Series/BigBrother'': On the first morning of the first season, one of the participants walked into the living room and found two of the others (opposite sex) sleeping on the couch, tightly embraced. They later denied the whole thing.
* The reason Music/OzzyOsbourne gave up drinking and drugs was that he had this happen to him regularly - the last time it happened, he woke up in prison, and when he jokingly asked what he'd done, he was stunned to hear that he'd tried to murder his wife Sharon, almost strangling her to death. A happy ending, actually, since it made him get off the drugs and it helped him change his [[DomesticAbuse (already abusive)]] relationship with Sharon into a healthy marriage.
* Creator/JohnLarroquette once woke up on a plane... with no idea where it was headed. Too embarrassed to ask, he found out when they landed in his hometown of New Orleans.
* A popular Website/{{Facebook}} meme in 2011 was to post something on your status to the effect of "You and I wake up (in prison/in the back of a car/covered in shaving cream/or any odd circumstances). What are the first three words out of your mouth?" And then see what other people would say.
* A lot darker, but in most situations, this is considered rape because you need to be SafeSaneAndConsensual. Being too drunk to even remember what happened is considered a very, very bad thing.
* Sleepwalking, there have been documented cases where people have got into their car and started driving (and making it to their destination safely), made whole meals, shopped for groceries, [[BreadEggsMilkSquick committed armed robbery, rape, and murder]], all while fast asleep.
* A 19-year-old British man [[http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/22/luke-harding-_n_4319588.html woke up in a toilet]] stall in Paris's Charles de Gaulle airport after a night of drinking in Manchester. He was using his passport as an ID and had to wait out an entire day in the city before returning home.

* A longer-term version of this happened with Creator/StephenKing - during one of his heavy substance abuse periods, he wrote ''Literature/{{Cujo}}''. * Creator/CarrieFisher was on a drug binge when she shot her scenes in ''Film/TheStarWarsHolidaySpecial'' and later claimed to have no memory of making it.
* Voice Actors Creator/TravisWillingham and Creator/MonicaRial duelled in a tequila shot drinking contest at a convention in 2004. After the duel left them drunk they then went to an 18+ panel which involved Travis chugging a ''whole litre'' of alcohol.
* Creator/AnthonyHopkins gave up drinking in 1975 after waking up in a hotel room in America with no idea how he got there.
* Creator/MichaelCaine recounted a time when he went on the town with Creator/PeterOToole when he understudied him in ''The Long, the Short and the Tall''. The last thing Caine remembers about that night is eating egg and chips at The Golden Egg in Leicester Square. They woke up the next morning in a flat occupied by some foreign girls. Caine asked what the time was, to which O'Toole responded, "Never mind that, what fucking ''day'' is it?" They made their way back to the theatre, at which point the theatre manager told them that he'd received a call from the Golden Egg proprieter telling them that they've been banned from the establishment for life. Caine wondered what on earth they did the previous night, to which O'Toole said, "Don't ask. It's always best not to know". Caine bowed to O'Toole's wisdom and never went on the tiles with him again.

* In ''VideoGame/KingOfTheCastle'', the North's version of the story event "An Invitation" sees the King invited to Winterfeast, an evening of food and drink at one of the Chiefs' clan halls. If the King decides to throw themselves into the "drink" side of things, they wake up the next morning with a shocking hangover and try to piece together the hazy memories of what they did the previous night (which could be dancing on a table, getting into a fight, or something else again).
