Eventually, the film did become a CultClassic after its subsequent video release, and airings on Creator/{{HBO}} Creator/DisneyChannel, Creator/{{Starz}}, and Creator/CartoonNetwork (presumably (in the latter's case, presumably trying to make up for their corporate cousin's failure).
