* The hosts of ''WesternAnimation/BluesClues'' (and later ''WesternAnimation/BluesCluesAndYou''). They are actually quite talented in multiple areas, but their concentration and attention problems make it very difficult for them to function without help. Both films in the series deconstruct this, revealing that Steve has self-esteem issues, and considers himself useless for being so dependent on others, while Josh on ''Film/BluesBigCityAdventure'' develops severe anxiety issues related to his concentration problems and is forced to realize the hard way that if he doesn't get better, he's probably going to miss out on a lot of important things in life (literally and figuratively).

** Mr Salt is TeamDad, and an SupremeChef, and quite wise, but not much smarter than the three hosts, being quite distracted, prone to causing accidents and acting without thinking, which occasionally causes problems.
** Julia, the slipper repairwoman, character exclusive to the extra material for “Blue's Big Pajama Party”. For comparison, Steve of all people acted like the StraightMan when interacting with her, her analytical skills leave something to be desired and she genuinely doesn't seem to understand that the slippers she gave Steve would never fit his feet.
** Marlon, a neighborhood store owner, isn't very bright when it comes to organizing things and like Josh, needs help from viewers to complete basic organizing tasks.
