** When finally a copy of Kate's "Wet T-Shirt Hall of Fame" picture is produced it turns out to be a NippleAndDimed version of this trope. You can see that she is wearing a white tank top, and that people are pouring water over her, but the photo is cropped just above nipple height.

* ''Anime/HanasakuIroha: Home Sweet Home''. Satsuki meets her future husband when he takes her photograph after she jumps in the pool fully clothed. She offers to let him rent her for the night so she can have the money to run away from home, but he punctures her adult pretensions by pointing out how her wet clothes have revealed she's wearing a training bra. An embarrassed Satsuki promptly vanishes completely underwater.

* Mr Darcy diving into a pond in the BBC's adaptation of ''Literature/PrideAndPrejudice''. Elizabeth Bennet is awed, and the scene became memetic among Creator/JaneAusten's fans.

* ''Series/{{Castle}}'': In the season six episode "In the Belly of the Beast", det. Beckett is waterboarded by criminals after her cover is blown. The water makes her already tight, black sweater so clingy that she might as well be wearing body paint (though she's wearing a bra underneath).
