* ''Anime/MazingerZ'': TheHero Kouji Kabuto himself and his BattleCouple, Sayaka, were PutOnABus at the end of the series (to be exact, they were put on a plane and sent to America), and they were replaced by TheHero and the ActionGirl from the next series, ''Anime/GreatMazinger'' (Tetsuya and Jun). In fact, all ''Anime/MazingerZ'' characters but Shiro, Boss and his gang were PutOnABus when ''Anime/GreatMazinger'' started, although a few of them returned in the last season for the GrandFinale (Kouji, Sayaka, Prof. Yumi and [[spoiler:Dr. Hell]]).
