* Lex Luthor in ''Series/{{Smallville}}'' lost all his hair as a small child because of the meteor shower.

Some may try to hide it with combovers, some may go 'au naturel' or just shave all their remaining hair off to stop looking patchy, but it will often be a sore spot. A few will embrace it and not let it get them down.

Contrast CharlieBrownBaldness, where a character has hair that's drawn as being (almost) bald. When done with a small child, or a teenage girl, it's ''usually'' case of the LittlestCancerPatient. Compare PrematurelyGreyHaired.

** Icelandic actor Creator/TomasLemarquis (best known for his role as Caliban in ''Film/XMenApocalypse'') lost all of his hair including eyebrows and eyelashes at age 13.

* Whenever he takes his baseball cap off, you'll see that Creator/DougWalker (who's in his early 30s) has a seriously receding hairline and a bit of a bald spot near the back of his head. He seems to be a fan of cutting his hair quite short, though, so that can't help much. He eventually shaved it all off.

* [[ComicBook/MortadeloYFilemon Mortadelo]] lost all his hair to one of [[MadScientist Doctor Bacterius]]'s [[GoneHorriblyWrong experiments]]. Filemon combines this with HairAntennae.
* UsefulNotes/{{The Silver Age|of Comic Books}} version of Comicbook/LexLuthor lost his hair as a teenager, when an experiment in artificial life went wrong. He blamed Superboy for this -and for the failure of his experiment and the destruction of his lab- and swore revenge. A similar story was used in ''Series/TheAdventuresOfSuperboy'' and it's at least alluded to in ''Series/{{Smallville}}''. (In the Creator/JohnByrne reboot version he just went prematurely bald worrying about Superman.)

* In ''[[ComicBook/RobinSeries Robin]]'' Tim Drake's friend Ives, who is still in high school, losses his hair due to follicular cancer and its treatments. In ''ComicBook/RedRobin'' it starts growing back when the cancer is in remission.

* [[DownplayedTrope While not fully bald]], Don Flamenco in the Wii version of ''VideoGame/PunchOut'' has a very receded hairline for a man in his mid-20s. Being TheFightingNarcissist, he covers this up with a [[DodgyToupee toupee]], and knocking it off mid-fight is his BerserkButton.

* Steve Burns of ''WesternAnimation/BluesClues'' fame. You can see him losing his hair over the course of his tenure on the show. In fact, his premature baldness is a large part of the reason why he left, as he thought he would look too "old" for the kids watching. His reappearance on the reboot ''WesternAnimation/BluesCluesAndYou'' shows him wearing a detective-style fedora on top of his shaved head.

* Two UsefulNotes/AmericanFootball players, quarterback Y.A. Tittle (played for the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers) and cornerback Bobby Boyd (Baltimore Colts) had gone bald well before the age of 30.

* It's been shown that AJ in ''WesternAnimation/TheFairlyOddparents'' is naturally bald. In "Fairy Idol" and the "Wishology" trilogy, he expresses desire to have hair.

A prematurely bald head is not to be confused with a shaved one (unless, as mentioned above, the man was balding anyway and just finished the job).

* Wrestling/HulkHogan started losing his hair in his late twenties, and was bald as an egg by his mid-30s.
