* In ''ComicBook/TheSandman'', Loki [[spoiler: after having his neck broken and his eyes eaten by the Corinthian]] tries to goad Thor into killing him by revealing that he had seduced Thor's wife Sif. He goes into rather lurid detail too.

** A rare female example occurs in "[[Recap/ColdCaseS4E13Blackout Blackout]]." Lauren Williams sexually abused her son, and had begun grooming her daughter Ginny's son, Matt. When Ginny calls Lauren out on being a terrible person and says that her power over the family is waning, Lauren smugly replies, "You might ask your precious son about that." The realization that her mother had begun molesting her son spurs Ginny into drowning Lauren.

One variation has the villain not doing it themselves but instead ordering their lieutenant(s) or mooks to carry out the deed to much the same effect. Not ''always'', but ''usually'' done with [[AlwaysMale male villain]]/[[AlwaysMale male hero]]/[[AlwaysFemale female victim]]. Because it's a really horrible thing to have done to someone you care about, this will frequently provoke UnstoppableRage and/or ExtremeMeleeRevenge from the hero - but also from people who don't even like or care about said love interest, as RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil.

Compare[=/=]contrast with NotIfTheyEnjoyedItRationalization, where the victim may actually have enjoyed it or the rapist might be trying to convince the victim and others (possibly including himself) it was consensual, whereas this is just the villain [[KickTheDog pretending as much for the sake of being a total prick]]. * ''Series/{{Outlander}}'': Angry after being cornered by multiple ultimatums, Captain Randall attempts to reestablish superiority by asking Claire if her husband Jamie ever told her the details of how Randall raped him. Randall taunts Claire by insisting that he knows Jamie in a way that Claire never can and that he knows the sound that Jamie makes as he orgasms.

** One episode had an episode involving two Immortals, Jacob and Irena Galati. Irena was raped by a man, but because she and Jacob are gypsies, the townspeople don't do anything about it. As they and Duncan try to walk away with some dignity, the rapist and his friends taunt them. When the rapist says he should be paid a stud fee for his actions, Jacob loses it and goes after him.
** Caleb Cole possibly in “Mountain Men”. He yells to Duncan that “I had your woman” and it’s not entirely clear if he’s saying he raped Tessa or that she was with him willingly. Regardless, Tessa quickly yells that Caleb is lying.
* ''Series/{{Oz}}'': Invoked when Dr. Gloria Nathan is raped on her way home from work by an Irish criminal, and she suspects that inmate Ryan O'Reilly, who was [[{{Yandere}} obsessed with her and had already arranged her husband's death]], was behind it. When she confronts him, he gloats about the rape until she physically attacks him, but he later admits to Father Mukada that he was lying so she could truly hate him and [[IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy move on with her life]]. He later kills the rapist personally.
* A Krommag commander in ''Series/{{Sliders}}'' taunts Quinn about her friend Wade Wells' destiny in a Krommag breeding camp (where she probably would be raped many times) saying "They say that human women can't come back to human men once they met the Krommag". This, naturally, infuriates Quinn.
* ''Series/{{Supernatural}}'': An unintentional example in a town where a deity is causing everyone to speak nothing but the absolute truth. A man who is being treated by a dentist friend suddenly starts gloating about having molested his friend's daughter one night, which of course is immediately followed by the enraged dentist [[VigilanteExecution getting "creative" with his tools]].

* In ''Literature/{{Scarlett}}'', after Scarlett is raped, she weakly orders her attacker to get out of her house. He invokes this trope without saying a word by laughing in her face and refusing to leave.
* In ''Series/TheBill'' DC Mickey Webb tracks down his rapist Martin Delaney after the event and is greeted with the taunt "Come back for seconds have 'ye?"
* There's a similar scene on ''Series/ThirdWatch'', where the rapist taunts his victim, who's confronted him at gunpoint, by telling him, "You don't have the balls." The man promptly shoots him in the groin and declares, "Now neither of us do!"
* ''Series/ChicagoPD''. When he confronts his daughter's kidnapper, Antonio beats the crap out of him until Voight pulls him off. The man sneers, "She was good", and Antonio responds by shoving him out of a window to his death.
* ''Series/TheBoys2019''. In "You Found Me", Homelander tells Billy Butcher about the night he raped his wife Becca, saying she was little more than a superhero groupie who enjoyed the sex so much she came three times. Butcher doesn't rise to the taunt, because that's just what you'd expect a psychopathic rapist to say. By the end of the episode, however, Becca is shown to be still alive and raising Homelander's son in a Vought facility, raising doubts as to the real story. The next season however reveals that Homelander really did rape her, and she accepted Vought protective custody to prevent her husband from going on a RoaringRampageOfRevenge (which ironically he did anyway, assuming from Becca's disappearance that Homelander murdered her).

* In the elf campaign of ''VideoGame/HeroesOfMightAndMagic IV'', the hero's rival steals his bride and uses sorcery to get her to be his willing wife, in every way. When confronted, he gloats that he will always be her first. Luckily, the hero uses a magical mirror to reverse the spell, although she still remembers all that's happened.
* In ''VideoGame/{{killer7}}'' not explicitly stated, but heavily implied by Curtis Blackburn to his former partner Pedro Montana about his wife. [[EvenEvilHasLovedOnes Subverted in that Pedro isn't really a good guy.]]

Vic is dismissive of his friend's technique but is crushed the next morning when his wife tells him that she had never really enjoyed sex until last night.

* Subverted in PLAGUE, book 4 of the GONE series; Drake Merwin does gloat about raping Brianna to her lesbian best friend Dekka Talent (who's in love with her), but it's a lie, and he never did rape her, only said so to upset Dekka.

Then he taunts them both about the husband's "weakness" for being unable to protect the wife.
