Another Overly Narrow Superlative is such a big deal that it rather cancels the over-narrowness, though. The Mark I (appeared after the Z3 and before the ENIAC) was also Turing Complete, proven in 1998. The Zuse Z4 from 1945 was not Turing Complete right from the start -- the conditional jump instruction was added after 1945 (possibly in 1950). Coincidentally, the ENIAC also lacked a conditional jump instruction at first and was not Turing Complete, until it was "hacked" to allow for some sort of conditional execution.[[note]]Back in these days, few people cared about whether a computer was Turing Complete or not.
