* ''Webcomic/{{Housepets}}'': An apron is often the only article of clothing Lucretia wears, usually the same 'SNIFF THE COOK' one. Justified in that she's a wolf, and most of the rest of her family don't wear clothes either.

Even ignoring that Examples Are Not Recent (the trend dates back to... 2017 from a quick Google search?), this is a general example and the outfit is way more sweater than apron. This might fit under Vapor Wear, but again, it's a general example.

* One recent meme outfit out of Japan is the "Virgin Killer Sweater", a sweater dress crossed with an apron. While looking perfectly presentable in the front, the rear is low cut to the point that it reveals if the person is wearing underclothing or not.

* ''Webcomic/Freefall'':
** Not only does Florence (an anthropomorphized wolf) give us an interesting take on the trope (turns out modesty is less of an issue when you have fur and a tail), turns out she wasn't the only one who [[http://freefall.purrsia.com/ff3100/fc03037.htm had the idea]]. Closely followed by a robot showing up with a claim to the apron who innocently tries to [[http://freefall.purrsia.com/ff3100/fc03041.htm take it]] while Florence has nothing else on underneath. Many other webcomics playing a scenario like this would not be as sweet, wholesome, and squeaky clean as ''Freefall'', but this ''is'' the webcomic that uses (and lampshades) [[http://freefall.purrsia.com/ff2600/fc02586.htm in-universe censor bars]] during shower scenes, and where childlike AIs like Helix are physically prevented from viewing anything [[http://freefall.purrsia.com/ff300/fv00203.htm scandalous]].

* ''Webcomic/{{Freefall}}'': The [[http://freefall.purrsia.com/ff3100/fc03037.htm morning after]] Florence and Winston move in together, they both {{Invoke|dTrope}} this independently of each other. Just because they're still navigating all the implications of their InterspeciesRomance doesn't mean they can't put on a bit of a show for each other. Albeit Winston keeps undies since he doesn't have a tail to help his modesty.
