This is a bit of MorphicResonance; it's meant to emulate the beak that real-life squids have for their mouths. The playable Octolings from ''VideoGame/Splatoon2'' onwards also have fangs meant to invoke real-life octopus beaks, though they're arranged asymmetrically, with their bottom and top fangs on opposite sides of the mouth.

* ''Webcomic/CursedPrincessClub'': Princess Gwendolyn of the Pastel Kingdom has very sharp teeth, unlike the rest of her siblings. Most of the time, we can see one little canine tooth poking out cutely, but even the times when she shows off all her carnivorous chompers tend to make her look endearing. With that said, her teeth are often depicted as sharper and more intimidating when she's viewed from the perspective of someone who doesn't know her well. This is especially true when she's seen by her reluctant fiancé Frederick, at least until he comes to know her better.

* Beast Boy of ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitans'', has one among his lower teeth, protruding from his mouth at all times to add to his unconventional cuteness and underline his animal status. Curiously, he tends to carry it over in all of his forms -- even when they don't even have teeth. His [[ComicBook/TeenTitans comic book version]] initially lacked this, but eventually he was redesigned (though at least they had the decency to do so in-story) with the fang intact [[RetCanon due to the show]].

* For the ''WesternAnimation/Animaniacs2020'' reboot, the Warner siblings are redesigned to have these. It's pretty noticeable whenever they get angry, and especially prominent in the episodes animated by Creator/{{Saerom}} and Creator/DigitalEMation.
