on second thought, not an example

* Downplayed in this joke:
--> A wife grew tired with her husband's late-night drunken homecomings. Finally, she asked a friend for advice, and the friend told her to take a condom, place it on a finger, and gently slip it into her husband's butt while he's still asleep. Soon enough, the husband came back drunk, and she did as she was advised to. In the morning, once the husband went into the bathroom, she asked cheerfully, "so, how was your night out with your friends?"

* There is line of jokes about what to do if you are in this sort of situation; you had a beer too many, got into bed with a person you don't see as appealing now that you're sober, and want to get rid of them as soon as you can. One of the provided solutions is to double down on the surprise -- act prudish and vaguely offended, claim completely no memory on how you got in this situation, and tell the poor woman that she exploited you sexually. Yeah, there's some heavy DoubleStandard (as often in sex jokes...) in that this is provided as a male-only solution. This is basically a FalseRapeAccusation, yet treated as nothing but a joke, which in turn implies that it's just amusing if something like that happens to a man.

Someone (usually a guy) wakes up in bed, and the audience assumes he's alone. But then either he moves or the camera pans, and we see there's someone else. Usually, it's implied that hanky-panky has just taken place, and if it hasn't, the guy will either anxiously ask for confirmation, or just assume the worst with hilarious consequences. Sometimes, it's used as a SecretRelationship reveal, occasionally by subverting the trope -- the audience is shocked to see the characters together, and then further shocked when the characters themselves aren't shocked. A common variation is to have the guy wake up to find another guy in his bed. In that case, either he's really anxious to ask for confirmation about why he's there, or he's too afraid to ask. HaremGenre loves this to death.
