* In ''Series/SaturdayNightLive'', recurring character Simon (Mike Myers) was a small English child who hosted his show in the bathtub. One installment had him sharing the tub with an American kid (Danny De Vito). Another had him sharing the tub with a character played by Sara Gilbert.

* PlayedForLaughs in ''Manga/SchoolRumble'' when Eri tries to do this with Motoko, but ends up with Harima. Harima ends having to pretend to be Motoko so he doesn't get caught.

* Played for laughs in ''Manga/ReincarnatedAsTheStrongestWand''. Walpurga drags Reiji, stuck as a wand, and thus unable to refuse, into a bath with her. They spend quite a bit of the scene getting to know and understand each other, until Walpurga realizes Reiji tends to be a bit uncomfortable seeing her naked body. HilarityEnsues

* ''Fanfic/PokemonCrossingFlyMeToTheMoon'' has a scene where the main characters relax together in a bathtub and talk about their lives before meeting each other.

* ''Manga/DeliciousInDungeon'': Marcille and Falin were already very close friends, but since Falin has only recently been [[SwallowedWhole extracted from inside a dragon's stomach]] and has been absent from the story aside from flashbacks, Chapter 28 begins with the two of them taking a bath together to really sell it to the reader. It serves a practical purpose in that Marcille needs to look over Falin's body to make sure she isn't missing any bits; she was resurrected from a bare skeleton using TheDarkArts and it's possible not her flesh wasn't restored all the way.

* This happens in ''Film/BuffaloSixtySix'' between the main characters, a man and a young woman where they bond silently. In this situation, the girl does have a thing for the man, he doesn't make a move and eventually tells her to get out.
