** After the release of ''The Avengers'' in 2012 it became common for Marvel movies to play up the connection with that movie, particularity in commercials for origin films like ''Film/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy'' and ''Film/AntMan1'' (with the latter film name dropping the team in the trailers). It wasn't until ''Film/DoctorStrange2016'' that the films started playing up the franchise as a whole in marketing as opposed to any individual past film.
