Misused of Five Man Band. Sixth Ranger isn't part of this trope. There're only four core members and the example is ZCE that only claim their fit the roles without explaining how...except it isn't, with The Leader and The Chick lump into one character and other two members have no fix role.

* FiveManBand: They actually pull it off pretty well despite being a core of four. Cosmos is TheLeader and TheChick mixed into one, Grim is TheLancer, and depending on the game, Rukaru and Wave swap between TheBigGuy and TheSmartGuy. Of course, any GuestStarPartyMember is going to be the SixthRanger by default.

Cosmos even acknowledged that it was a legitimate hint, Given [[FanBoy Wave's Opinion]] of the character in question.
