* Rex in ''WesternAnimation/ToyStory1'' is a toy dinosaur made by an unnamed company that was bought out by Mattel. Fans have long noted his resemblance to the tyrannosaur from the already-discontinued "Dino-Riders" line (which featured human action figures that... well, [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin rode on dinosaurs]]) and speculated that that's exactly what he was. Fast forward two years after the movie's release, and the company behind Dino-Riders, Tyco, was indeed bought by Mattel.

* In the 2009 ''WesternAnimation/AstroBoy'' film, Donald Sutherland plays a character called President Stone. Sounds a lot like the name of a [[Film/TheHungerGames certain future Sutherland role]], right?

* ''VideoGame/{{The Incredibles|Game}}'' tie-in game loosely based on the first movie's premise had [[Creator/ElizabethDaily E.G. Daily]] voicing Elastigirl. Come ''WesternAnimation/Incredibles2'', another ''[[WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls Powerpuff Girls]]'' cast member, Cathy Cavadini, plays an additional voice role in said movie.

* ''WesternAnimation/ThePrinceAndThePauper'': At one point, one of the weasels, voiced by Creator/CharlieAdler, tries to take a hen from Clarabelle Cow by force. Five years later, Adler would voice [[WesternAnimation/CowAndChicken another cartoon cow and chicken]] (in a show that also has a [[WesternAnimation/IAmWeasel weasel]].)
* In ''WesternAnimation/RiseOfTheGuardians'', Creator/JudeLaw voices the BigBad Pitch a.k.a. [[ThingsThatGoBumpInTheNight the Bogeyman]] who [[IKnowWhatYouFear knows people's greatest fears]]. In ''Film/FantasticBeastsTheCrimesOfGrindelwald'', Jude Law plays the BigGood Dumbledore as he asks children what do they fear and teaches them to fight [[ThingsThatGoBumpInTheNight Boggarts]] who [[IKnowWhatYouFear take on the appearance of the victim's deepest, darkest fear]].

* ''WesternAnimation/SpiesInDisguise'':
** [[Creator/TomHolland Walter Beckett]] graduated at the MIT at the age of 15. Like his mentor [[Creator/RobertDowneyJr Tony Stark]] [[Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse before him.]] This on top of [[Film/SpiderManFarFromHome fighting a bad guy with holographic tech that uses killer drones. And this time the student surpassed the master]].
** Creator/WillSmith also again portrayed a character [[Film/Aladdin2019 in a color blue]] and a [[Franchise/MenInBlack super agent in a black suit]].
** This is not the first time [[Creator/WillSmith Lance Sterling]] and [[Music/DJKhaled Ears]] [[Film/Aladdin2019 collaborated in a film]].
** [[Creator/TomHolland Spider-Man]] already met [[Creator/KarenGillan Nebula]] in ''[[Film/AvengersEndgame Endgame]]'', works again with [[Creator/BenMendelsohn Nick Fury/Talos]], and now gets to meet [[Creator/WillSmith a men-in-black spy]].

** Just a week after ''Turning Red'''s release, Creator/SandraOh would again play an overbearing, overprotective mother in ''Umma'' -- only in that case, it's a horror film.
** In the Japanese dub, Jin Lee is voiced by Creator/HirokiYasumoto, whose one of his most well-known roles was [[Franchise/StreetFighter Guile]]; One of his victory quotes is "Go home and be a family man!". In this film, he voice a literal, sensible family man.

In 2023, Rosalie Chiang (Mei's voice actor) replaced Creator/TressMacNeille as the new voice of Hubert Wong on that show. Made even more hilarious by the fact that Disney now also own the rights to ''The Simpsons''.

* In ''WesternAnimation/JusticeLeagueDark'', [[spoiler:Ritchie Simpson, [[RoleReprise reprised]] [[Series/{{Constantine}} by]] Creator/JeremyDavies, is a pawn for [[AdaptationNameChange (Dr.)]] Destiny. In ''Series/Elseworlds2018'', Davies is cast as John Dee[[AdaptationNameChange (gan)]] himself.]]

* ''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qu_Eag_NbVU Cutting Edge]]'', a song in ''WesternAnimation/TheBraveLittleToaster'' where The Master's new appliances gloat about how technologically advanced they are is amusing to watch now that [[TechnologyMarchesOn Technology Has Marched On]]. Said "cutting edge" appliances are now all hilariously and amazingly obsolete (good luck even finding some of them in a thrift store), while the "outdated" toaster, lamp, vacuum, and electric blanket are all still popular and commonly used in homes. Even music players with tubes have made a comeback among music enthusiasts owing to the superior quality of sound they offer over transistors.

* In ''WesternAnimation/TheSimpsonsMovie'', Bart imitates WesternAnimation/MickeyMouse by wearing a black bra on his head and saying "I'm the mascot of an evil corporation". Creator/{{Disney}} now owns most of 21st Century Fox's assets, which includes ''Franchise/TheSimpsons''.

* The eighth film ''Animation/{{Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf|Film Series}}'' film, ''[[Animation/PleasantGoatAndBigBigWolfDunkForFuture Dunk for Future]]'', had Happytoon as a production company. They're the company that produces ''Animation/HappyHeroes'', Huang Weiming's other long-running series. Later in 2022, it was announced that ''Happy Heroes'' would be getting a third movie, ''The Stones'', that has ''Pleasant Goat'' production company Creator/CreativePowerEntertaining as part of its crew, bringing it full-circle.

* One of the songs used in ''WebVideo/TheFryingNemoSaga'', a series of WebAnimation/YouTubePoop videos based on ''WesternAnimation/FindingNemo'', is "What A Wonderful World" by Music/LouisArmstrong. In 2016, the film's sequel, ''WesternAnimation/FindingDory'', would use this song [[spoiler: when Hank the septopus crashes a truck into the ocean to free all the fish inside of it]].

* [[WesternAnimation/MeetTheRobinsons Meet The Robinsons]]

** At one point in the movie, the Bowler Hat Guy [[Main/MindControl Mind Controls]] a frog and a [[UsefulNotes/TyrannosaurusRex T-Rex]] using a special hat. 10 years later, and out comes a [[VideoGame/SuperMarioOdyssey certain video game where you do exactly that]].

** Shrek and Fiona, huh? Maybe there’s [[VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles another couple with similar names?]]

** Throughout the film, [[Main/AffablyEvil The Bowler Hat Guy]]/[[spoiler:Goob]],a middle-aged man, is seen carrying a notebook with a cartoon pony on the cover. A few years later, thanks to a [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic certain cartoon]], that sort of thing [[Main/PeripheryDemographic would become commonplace]] in the real world.

** In the movie, [[spoiler:the fate of Dave the Octopus is that he gets trapped inside a snow globe]]. In ''VideoGame/{{Splatoon}}'', [[spoiler:the fate of DJ Octavio, also an octopus, is that he gets trapped in a snow globe]].

* ''WesternAnimation/{{The Hunchback of Notre Dame|Disney}}'' (1996) featured a VillainSong in which the villain sang about burning down Notre Dame. In April of 2019, guess what happened? Ordinarily this would just be a FunnyAneurysmMoment, but what bumps it into dark comedy territory is that at the time, Disney was right in the middle of creating hi-def and live-action remakes of some of its older movies. ''Hunchback'' wasn't one of them... supposedly.
