** The best part is that when Xavier failed to do this in the comics and instead left Magneto comatose and himself stewing in his own guilt, he ended up creating [[EnemyWithout Onslaught]]. Now, the circumstances of Onslaught's coming will be entirely different, if he'll even exist at all! Xavier's kindness and empathy has positive repercussions that only the audience knows.
