* Wu goes out of his way to reassure Maisie and inform her of the truth of her origins. This not only helps her get past a lot of [[CloningBlues baggage]], but it also pays off in the end when he is given a chance to stop the locusts because of her faith in him. After 2 films as a seemingly heartless villain, Wu being reduced to near tears at the opportunity to make something right is touching.

** The ''Mosasaurus'' has her aggression listed as high and is depicted eating anything close to her mouth. But it's touching at the end to see her swimming among a pod of humpback whales (image above), showcasing that she's not a total nonstop eating & killing machine, and may very well have integrated into the pod of whales, being they are closest in size to her. At the Dino Tracker website, it reveals that the ''Mosasaurus'' is working with a pod of orcas to target sharks. It’s especially heartwarming when one remembers the ''Mosasaurus'' is the only specimen of her kind that was cloned, so the fact she has new friends makes her not so lonely anymore.

* It's revealed that even after she was released to the wild, Blue didn't cut her ties with her former caretaker entirely, and chose to set up her nest in an abandoned bus not very far away from Owen, Claire, and Maisie's new home. She even occasionally comes by to check in on them every once in a while, albeit from a distance.

* After Ian momentarily distracts the Giganotosaurus he starts to climb the ladder but almost falls, but Alan manages to grab his arm in time.

* Towards the end of the film, Blue momentarily returns to wordlessly thank Owen for keeping his promise of bringing her kidnapped baby back. After watching their friendship go through the wringer for two full movies, it's a breath of fresh air to see they're on good terms now.

** Also when Beta gets kidnapped, though very much enraged and seconds away from just snapping, Blue not only musters enough self-control to avoid outright attacking Owen but immediately goes to him for help to get her baby back.

** A flock of ''Quetzalcoatlus'', ''Pteranodon'' and ''Dimorphodon'' are shown migrating alongside modern birds. Birds are related to dinosaurs, since they evolved from dinosaurs, so it makes sense that dinosaurs (or in this case, their close relatives as pterosaurs are not true dinosaurs) and birds coexist peacefully.

** A flock of ''Quetzalcoatlus'', ''Pteranodon'' and ''Dimorphodon'' are shown migrating alongside modern birds. Birds are related to dinosaurs, since they evolved from dinosaurs, so it makes sense that dinosaurs and birds coexist peacefully.
