* Quentin waiting until they were near Tanya's hotel in Taormina to have her killed is a brilliant detail, because in order for the InheritanceMurder to be successful, all the conspirators need for Tanya's body to be found and easily identified, otherwise she would just be classified as missing and Greg would have to wait for seven years for her to be declared legally dead and access her fortune.
* Bert, Albie, and Dominic have an unhappy time when trying to reconnect with their homeland. This isn't surprising, since they just turned up out of the blue. However, it's also established that Dominic expects his wife to sort out everything; she even booked the hotel. Therefore, it shouldn't be surprising that their trip is an abject failure, and it's not just a form of karma from the other women in their family. He didn't prepare for anything because he's used to his wife doing it for him.

* Tanya's ultimate fate in season two, [[spoiler:being schmoozed and manipulated by Quentin's gang which leads to her death]], could be interpreted as a commentary on the tendency of gay men to obsess over [[LGBTFanbase older character actresses]] like Creator/JenniferCoolidge (Tanya) to such a degree that it comes off as unhealthily smothering and even dehumanizing.
* While Tanya's comment that she "should've started the spa with that woman from Hawaii" seems like classic dehumanizing MagicalNegro stuff, it's also a literal statement of fact. Belinda - at least before she gets her hopes dashed by Tanya - is shown to be extremely perceptive and to give good advice. She likely would've been far savvier about the danger posed by Greg than either Tanya or Portia.

* Greg says he was married three times before Tanya. Since we know he killed Tanya for her money, did he do the same to his other wives, too?
** Greg is also shown to have kids, if he really was talking to his daughter on the phone. If he did the BlackWidow thing before, did he kill his own daughter's mother?
* By the end of the season, Portia has finally transformed into ''exactly'' the kind of woman Albie is attracted to, in fact arguably more so (since he probably didn't meet a lot of women who'd gone through such a traumatic event). We know Bert, and likely Dominic too, were both emotionally abusive to their wives. This paints a very bleak picture for how the onetime nice guy Albie will react to and mistreat Portia, who is already in a vulnerable state.
** Even worse, Albie may have learned the wrong lesson from his experience with Lucia: he tries to be different from his father and grandfather, both of whom put their own needs ahead of their wives, and the first time he puts a woman's needs first, he gets conned. He will probably become more selfish as a result.

** Speaking of possible pregnancies, what [[LaserGuidedKarma if Lucia ends up pregnant]] and she isn't sure if it's either Dominic's or Albie's baby?

* Dominic and Bert have a MisaimedFandom regarding ''Literature/TheGodfather'' that Albie also misses. Michael Corleone ends up destroying his family and is left progressively more ruined throughout the movies (with the start of his downfall in the first film already clear).

* Rachel's decision to stay with Shane may be more understandable than simple gold-digging. Her time at the White Lotus results in her having a lot of blows to her self-confidence as an independent self-made woman and CrusadingJournalist. She gets called out by one of her idols as a poseur and muck-racking journalist who just repeats what other people say online.

* Belinda, even if she did manage to get own wellness center, would not have changed her unfulfilling life of catering to rich white women's neuroses. After all, that's what she wanted to essentially build anyway. It would just be her as its owner.

* Armond probably gets away with being passive aggressive to guests like Shane all the time. It's just he can't reign himself in once he falls off the wagon and this results in an escalating series of pranks that ultimately make him a genuinely dangerous enemy. Shane is also a guest who has connections to the hotel owners, which makes it even more of a risky venture.

* At first glance it would appear weird that a mid-level federal bureaucrat like Greg would have the kind of money to stay at a place of the White Lotus' caliber. But once it is revealed that he is SecretlyDying it makes perfect sense: if he doesn't have much time left he is probably spending his life saving living large while he can.

* The hunky young man who hits on Tanya has a hairy chest, a full beard, and shaggy hair. His whole grooming aesthetic would be more fashionable in the 1980s than 2020, making him almost custom-designed to appeal to someone of Tanya's age.
