In fact, this robot is the one who eventually kills Bonnie and Clyde before going down from a hail of Tommygun bullets (it ''is'' only made out of unarmored car parts, after all).

Like the console version, the campaigns tell two stories about the Autobots and Decepticons that are set in AlternateContinuities, but this time they diverge more from the film than the console version.

''The Last Knight'' was intended to be the launchpad for a SharedUniverse set in the film universe; however, following the underperformance of the film, plans changed and the sixth film in the series was removed from Paramount's release schedule. ''Film/{{Bumblebee}}'', already well into development, was retooled into a reboot, and its warm reception convinced Hasbro and Paramount to proceed with a new film continuity. Bay did not return to direct the rebooted films, although he remains attached as producer. Creator/StevenCapleJr clarified that he considers the first three Bay films as canon to ROTB and the last two as an AlternateContinuity.
