* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: When Thor visits Loki in his cell, he asks the latter to drop his illusions. What we see is a room destroyed. The furniture is scattered and broken, Loki unkempt and half dressed. Despite Loki's brief protest, Frigga was his mother and knowing he played a role in her death... He agrees to work with Thor to avenge her. He also plans to betray Thor, but not to death. [[spoiler:Just the throne.]]

* HurtingHero: Thor is kept away from his sweetheart by the long, draining intergalactic war his brother's actions kick-started.
