Music/ElvisPresley's 27th feature film, ''Speedway'' is a 1968 musical romantic comedy/sports film directed by Norman Taurog.
Race car pilot Steve Grayson (Presley) is generous with his money and likes to help out both friends and people he hardly knows with their financial troubles. His best friend, Kenny Donford (Creator/BillBixby), is his manager, but his poor handling of Steve's money attracts the undesirable attention of the IRS. Auditor Susan Jacks (Music/NancySinatra) is sent to keep tabs on Steve, only for the two to fall in love.
