Lisa is all keen to help, believing the person who stole the body was the one that dumped her, until he lets slip WHEN the body was taken. Brian is no more helpful. Matt/Laura turns to a "witch" to explain a way to get his body back. She even convinces Lisa to help, only to be betrayed. In the end, she murders Matt's body (and the person inhabiting it), as well as Lisa (now inhabiting Colette's body). When tried for murder, she takes the stand and tells the truth. Instead of prison, she goes to an insane asylum. Later, she is released, and goes off with Brian to spend all the money Brian inherited from the murdered Matt.
