* BackForTheFinale: Most of the Toho monsters that had their debut before being transplanted with Godzilla prior to 1968 are in the film, them being Anguirus, Rodan, Mothra, Varan, Manda, Baragon, and King Ghidorah. Ghidorah stands out as this is canonically his final appearance.

* BloodFromTheMouth: King Ghidorah during his battle against the Monsters. This should be noted that Eiji Tsuburaya, the SFX supervisor of the film has quote several times before that he'd never have Godzilla or any of the monsters in Toho bleed... though this is perhaps because his protege Sadamasa Arikawa did the actual directing.

* ZergRush: No matter how much of a badass you are, being outnumbered still isn't good. King Ghidorah, the most badass of Toho's evil monsters, finds himself outnumbered by all of Earth's monsters. Although it must be noted that a lone bear can defeat a pack of wolves so the numbers thing doesn't always work in real life but numbers can be a very good factor in a fight. However, in this case this includes three monsters (Godzilla, Mothra, and Rodan) who Ghidorah was beaten by in his first appearance, now with a lot of backups, so his death is to be expected.

Deleted "Offscreen Teleportation" as it's just wrong. Whoever added that assumed that the movie takes place in like a day or something? The movie covers quite a span of time where the monsters could transverse the globe.

* OffScreenTeleportation: Somehow Godzilla is capable of pulling this off, going from Monsterland (located in the Ogasawara Island chain in the Pacific) to New York City (which is near the Atlantic Ocean) in one area, and then he suddenly ends up right back in the Pacific where he sinks a cruise liner and then ends up in Tokyo (for Big G to do this quickly on foot, he would first have to travel across the Yucatan Peninsula (destroying any towns along the way) to cross into the Gulf of Mexico, then hit Florida to cross into the Atlantic Ocean (thereby destroying either Tampa Bay or Miami), then traverse up the Atlantic coastline to reach Manhattan, then he would have to reverse his route to end up in the Pacific). Same also goes for Mothra and Manda who go from Monsterland to Beijing, China (although Beijing isn't too far of a distance from Tokyo, Japan, though considering that Mothra was in it's far slower Larval stage and not in it's much faster Imago stage, meant that it would end up taking far longer to get to Tokyo at its current speed) and London, England (this was far worse for a slow land mover such as Manda as it would have to swim from the sea separating England and France, get into the Atlantic Ocean to try and find the quickest route to end up back the Pacific, or attempt to take the same path as Godzilla which would have taken longer) respectively and they somehow all find their way back to Tokyo all within a matter of minutes. Likely Justified for the Kilaaks as they can teleport themselves wherever they want to as long as they had hidden control beacons, implying that this is how they managed to get the Kaiju to each respective city (especially the slow ones like Godzilla, Mothra and Manda as it would have taken them mere days if not weeks to get to said cities and the same amount to return to Japan from their current locations at their current speed). This would be less likely for a supersonic flyer like Rodan (who flew from Monsterland all the way to Moscow, Russia then to the nearby Ural mountains which is near the Russia/Kazakhstan border (destroying a British airplane as a result) and then all the way back to Tokyo, Japan making him the first of 4 Kaiju to arrive in the Japanese capital), who's long established in his film as being fast enough to fly from his nest in Mt. Aso to Beijing, China (the city Mothra attacked), to Manila, Philippines and back to Japan within a matter of minutes (even without his mate giving off the illusion), meaning that Rodan wouldn't have any issues flying all the way from Moscow, then to the nearby Urals and then back to Tokyo at supersonic speeds. Gorosaurus (another slow-moving Kaiju) also didn't have much of an issue thanks to his TunnelKing ability though it was revealed that the tunnels were actually made by Baragon ahead of time, meaning he could pop up from literally anywhere in the world at any time as long as he has those tunnels, such as from Monsterland to Paris and later on Mt. Fuji.

Changed all references to "Monster Island" to "Monsterland." Monsterland is not the same place as Monster Island.

The year is 1999, where the world has corralled all the world's monsters into a heavily secure island base in the Ogasawara archipelago called Monsterland and a new Moonbase is being established with the brand new rocket ship Moonlight SY-3. However, things go awry when Monsterland is suddenly gassed by aliens and both the monsters and humans are brought under the control of a group of space women known as Kilaaks. They've made the Monster Island crew into henchmen and have sent the monsters around the world with Godzilla attacking New York, Rodan to Moscow, Gorosaurus to Paris, and Mothra to Beijing. It is up to the crew of the Moonlight SY-3 to sabotage the Kilaak control device, while the monster attacks intensify and the Kilaaks plot to make things more comfortable for them by raising the temperatures. Upon their success, the monsters rally to attack the Kilaak base at Mount Fuji, but the Kilaaks pull another card from their sleeves: King Ghidorah, leading to a climactic showdown for Earth.

** King Kong was in the script for the version of this story that was being considered in 1967 in competition with the winning idea that became Film/SonofGodzilla. Sanda was to have been seen hanging around on Monsterland in one of the late drafts of the script (though he did not participate in the later action). Ebirah was also in later drafts, but didn't make it into the final film.

* EarnYourHappyEnding: The humans earn their right to continue to exist by destroying the alien mind control devices and the Earth monsters earn their right to live the rest of their days in peace on Monster Island by killing the world destroying King Ghidorah once and for all.
